They didn’t pull permits for our commercial alteration they performed (major plumbing, concrete dug up, etc…) when we initially told them during their bid that all that matters is getting permitted through the health department for our food facility. They assured us that would be no problem and they were the guys for our project! They gave us a quote, we paid half for deposit and they started tearing up our concrete. 2nd day on the job, they come and try to tell us we owe them $3800 more or else they’re going to pull their guys off our job. That was just the first issue. We pushed back and their workers actually threatened to quit working for them and come back on their own time to help us. They dropped it and said they’d finish the job for the initial price promised. Project took 1.5 weeks longer than told (was told the job would take 2-3 days and it took 2 weeks). Once it was done, they left a bunch of cleanup we took care of even though cleanup and repainting was included in the price and bid we received (contract). Okay, just glad to be done with it. Fast forward… 2 weeks after their job was completed… found out they never pulled ANY permits whatsoever for our job. We now have a $6k plumbing job we cannot even use. They are also not licensed to do half the stuff they did in our commercial unit. They have now ghosted us and have not responded to any of our messages since August 15th 2022. We’ve called the main office multiple times and left messages with Patty. Douglas has been avoiding our calls (this is the man who was said to be working on the permit). He finally drew up some “plans” that were like a child drew them (definitely not acceptable for the permitting desk with the City of Sparks). Josh hasn’t been any help either. This business has now cost us thousands and thousands in just down time with our business. We’ve had to hire a general contractor to get this job permitted and finished correctly, which has cost us thousands more. Also found out today during our health inspection that they installed our floor drain and water heater incorrectly. They have also never reached out to solve any of these issues.

Josh came to our house and made an estimate of the cost of the work. We paid $700 plus as a deposit with the understanding that we would be contacted by the 'scheduler' that afternoon or the next day. Yesterday I called to see why we hadn't heard from the 'scheduler.' I was told we would hear from that dept. 'soon.' This morning I called again, this time asking to speak to the 'scheduler.' I was transferred to Douglas (scheduler) and I explained that we needed the work done because we had no water. Douglas patronizingly asked why, if it was just a shower valve, that we had no water. I replied that the shower was spurting water and that our house 'shut-off' valve controlled the whole house. He said, "that's usually how plumbing works, buddy.' I told him (after picking up on his sarcasm) that we needed it done or scheduled before the weekend or I would cancel the order. During the ensuing exchange, which Douglas told me that the call was recorded and did I want to hear it played back. There was more exchanges during which I repeatedly asked if we could start over. He kept escalating, calling me "jerk, ******* and unprofessional' repeatedly. He claimed to have canceled and refunded our deposit after I asked to speak to his supervisor several times. It felt like I was back in high school and told him so at one time. Overall, dealing with these people was not a good experience. I would not trust them to do the work at this time because I can only imagine how they would handle any problems that may have arisen.

Someone installed a 'T' into the water main, before the main shut off at the house. It starts to leak, a lot. I got a couple estimates. River City was slightly more expensive. But I really liked the way they presented themselves, so I went with them. They came out and did some prep work on a Thursday. And could not come out to really start the job until the following Tuesday. They had a broken cable that they needed to do my work. I was disappointed that they were down because they did not have an extra one. In Tuesday, bright and early, they were there. Trenching and digging they began the process. The replaced the line from the meter to the house with a poly material. Everything went great. Workers were friendly, and listened to any suggestion that I had. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent! A search on networx.com referred me to the company and, very shortly following a call to them, Mike Bass came to our house and offered advise on how to proceed with our project. The intent was to replace a broken main water line without having to dig a trench across our yard. Following my acceptance of Mike's "trenchless" proposal, his crew arrived and very professionally and efficiently completed the job. And some challenges arose during the process, such as having to bring in a larger back hoe in order to provide enough pulling power. When the first machine failed at this, the crew could have "thrown their hands up", and advised that they would have to dig the trench after all. And, actually, even a third back hoe had to be used, due to a mechanical failure of the second one. This crew persevered, in spite of such obstacles. I was very impressed, to say the least. Thanks so much, River City Plumbing!!

Phil and Nick came in with a mask on and was very nice and quick. Thank you both for the great service. Also, I got an appointment quickly didn't have to wait weeks out.

They are ALL very UNPROFESSIONAL .....felt like I got SCAMED wouldn't recommend them to ANYBODY EVER !!!

From the initial placement of the service call, I received excellent service.  Dan from River City Plumbing called to confirm, explain any exceptions to the deal I purchased.  The plumber called 15 minutes before he arrived.  He was courteous and professional, made the repairs, pointed out some areas to keep an eye on and cleaned up after his work.  Very impressive and would definitely recommend and will certainly use again!

The plumbers showed up on time to replace the water heater and hot water re-circulator.  They were very professional and cleaned and straightened out everything when they were done.  The job they did looked great.  After they left I realized  there was a minor misunderstanding concerning the placement of the re-circulator.  I called the shop and explained the issue.  The next morning the same plumbers showed up on time and changed the configuration to meet my request.  The final job they did is exactly as I requested and at no charge.  I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who looking for quality plumbing work.
