Scott Ochiltree is the owner of Ochiltree Paining. He was one of 3 contractors we contacted to bid on the exterior paining of our 23 year old home in Reno. We found his friendly professional demeanor to be the best. He exhibited the qualities we look for in any professional. He answered all our questions well and made numerous suggestions that helped us to decide how we wanted the house painted. He was consistantly responsive to text messages. He showed up on the day and time promised with a crew of 4 who went to work scraping, sanding and recauking the whole house. We were most impressed with his crew. They were diligent and worked hard. Every caulk line is straight and almost invisible. Every paint cut of the white trim and yellow main paint is even. They showed up superbly every day and it was obvious that they were all pros. Scott worked around the intermittant rain and completed the job as promised. The cost was beyond fair considering the quality of the job. We would absolutely recommend Ochiltree Painting as being an exenplary contractor.

I met with Scott late last year. We were too late to get the work done in the fall, so we decided to get the work done this summer. I must say it was so worth the wait! Scott and his guys knocked it out of the park! Way exceeded my expectations. The house hadn’t had any love for last 15 years. There was severe stucco damage on the west side of the house as that takes the brunt of the crazy wind we get out here. They repaired all stucco damage and cracks that covered around 75 percent of the house. They took their time and got the job done. Neighbors have even complimented how amazing the house looks! If you are torn between a quote that is maybe a little less, I would be willing to pay a little more for Scott and his guys to get the job done. It was well worth the little extra!

Scott delivered on his work on our 5200 sqft. split- level redwood deck. He was on time, usually the first on the job and always available. His crew are experienced and thorough as Scott. The deck need heavy sanding, power washing, and two coats to do the job. It looks great and a pleasure to walk on. We are very pleased with his outstanding work and recommend him highly. Five Star.

The job went really well as owner Scott is a great help in keeping in touch from start to finish! His crew worked efficiently and were professional about it and did a great job. Scott is an awesome guy and a talented painter. He helped me with a ceiling paint job that needed to be redone. I have a gabled ceiling with no texture (completely skim coated) and the previous painter had left tons of streaks and roller marks so I gave Scott quite a challenge to work with. He took his time taping off the entire room and was able to spray and backroll it to a much better finish. He was able to quote me a very fair price in real time and it was super easy to work with him.
