I needed my front yard bushes and shrubs trimmed and trimmings hauled away. I used Mayan previously for the last 3 years. The did a satisfactory job, however they invoiced me for over double the amount I paid previously when they did both the front and backyards. I found out that they overstated the labor hours and trimmings. Their labor rate was increased by nearly 25% over the previous year, 2024. His labor rate is now $155/hour. My previous year they charged me $300 for the total service front and backyard. This year, Robert invoiced me for over $700 for service just for the front yard. After several negotiations back and forth, Robert agreed to reducing his rate to $600, which is still double what I paid the previous year for more services. Robert was very difficult to work with and accused me of being dis-honest, when it was he who was overcharging me for landscaping services. Needless to say, I will not ever use him in the future. My neighbor who also used his services will not be using him again. I will not recommend Mayan landscaping again due to him overcharging for his services.

I called looking for someone to come help level the ground and lay pavers for a shed. The owner came out personally and I was very impressed; he said they would be able to help me out and get My Job done in a week/week and a half. I paid him CASH for the estimate/fee for him Come out (which he told me would speed up the process, rather than having to schedule it to pay with a card). Then he never called me back. Ever. I reached out. He never texted, called, or Emailed me back. I never received a quote. I just never heard from him. He took my cash and couldn’t even both to call back to tell me he didn’t want to do it. He clearly had no intention of taking on our project, just wanted some free cash.

In 2018 I asked Mayan Lawn to give me an estimate for landscape repairs, they never gave me an estimate. In 2019 I tried again still no estimate. They have done clean up and sprinkler repair and did a good job. If they didn't want the work they should have said so.

Excellent experience. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had several leaks in my system and Robert was able to diagnose them all and give me a plan for fixing them. His workers showed up right on time and finished the work in a timely fashion. Now my system works perfectly with no leaks!

Very professional and very informative as to what issues yard had. Very prompt in making sure yard was functioning properly.

Everything went very smoothly. From the emailed estimate to the scheduling, Mayan kept me informed. The owner, Robert, actually performed the service. He gave me a call when he was on his way and performed the turn on & testing of my system flawlessly. He was very friendly as he showed me what he was doing and explained the process. I was so impressed with the service, that I am in the process of hiring Mayan Lawn & Landscape for another project.

Robert was very professional, knowledgeable and dependable. He came up with a plan to landscape our yard that is both beautiful and functional. He helped me work with 2 HOAs to get the project approved and was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my wife and I were happy. Robert and his crew were ALWAYS there when they said they would be and worked very hard and efficiently. Robert checked on the crew every day they were on site to make sure they were doing exactly what was called for in the landscape plan. He also made sure he answered all our questions and was very patient when my wife and made numerous changes to the plan

Mario came by the same day I called to evaluate my yard and give me the pricing for their services.  He was very professional, helpful and courteous.  I signed an annual maintenance agreement and since then they have done an excellent job and my lawn has never looked better.  They are always there when they say they will be and work very efficiently.
