My Jetta is a 2000 but only has 44450 miles on it so decided to get it repaired instead of replacing it.
I had taken it to two other mechanics first, one just guessed at things so after spending over $760.00 with that mechanic and having to take it back 3 times I went to another mechanic that honestly told me that they couldn't fix it after looking at it. They didn't charge me but suggested I take it to the VW Dealer.
VW gave me a loaner because it took about a week for them to fix everything on the car. Darrel was very nice and explained things to me. I now have a car I can trust again. I thought it was a bit pricey but most of it was labor and it was worth it as I can now be comfortable having my grandchild in the car again knowing the car is safe.
