 + -1 moreHart examined the rings and noted that the smaller stones in one ring were wearing against the larger setting in the other ring. He recommended that the two rings be bonded together to eliminate future wear. It took them a few extra days over their estimation to finish the work, but I'm very happy with the results. The diamonds are fixed tightly in their setting, the rings are cleaned and polished to a brilliant shine. The bonding of the rings together has made the set much more comfortable to wear. I will definitely do more business with this store in the future.
Description of Work: I brought my wedding & engagement rings into Harts because I noticed that a few of the stones were loose. The rings were also in great need of a clean and polish.

Though new to the Reno area, we have found our jeweler....Jeff Hart demonstrated that he is a fair businessman that really looks out for his customers.
Description of Work: We called Hart's Fine Jewelry....Jeff encouraged us to come in for our watch repair needs....gave us an extremely fair estimate and actually did the work as we waited. He replaced 2 watch batteries, 2 protective seal-like gasgets, buffed the watches/eliminated all scratches plus cleaned and polished a wedding ring. Jeff also identified the need to replace prongs that hold a diamond on a wedding ring that eventually require replacement. He suggested that the work be done within a year....not right away as the prongs still had viability. We appreciated the "heads up" and the fact that he "didn't try to sell a repair until it was actually needed". While in the shop, we also found a watch we liked...Jeff made us an offer of 50% off--an excellent deal which we gratefully accepted. Mr. Hart is a" low key" kinda guy, no hard sales pressure, just honest answers and excellent customer service.
