The scheduling and service was excellent. The repairman arrived at the house within 60 minutes of scheduling the appointment. tTe repair was completed in a very timely and professional manner.

They came out and gave me a quote on a replacement garage door and opener, and then gave me the discount from a ValPak coupon. The price was much better than any of the other businesses I contacted. The door and opener were installed as agreed and work flawlessly. They made a few adjustments at my request with no complaints. They are very easy to deal with and deliver what they promise. I may use them to replace my gate opener.

Great. Brandon listened intently to all of my concerns about the bad installation and proceeded to fix all of the problems left by the other door company. He was friendly, courteous, and seemed to really enjoy his work. Brandon did an excellent job and made sure that I was happy with all the corrections. Now the door works like it is brand new. George and Sons is the company to call first if you want the job done right so that you don't have the problems that I had. They will be the company that does all my service work on my door and opener if it is ever needed.

From the initial call to completion of the work, the experience was great. I have an older house with a small manual garage door. I had a garage door opener installed, along with a keypad. It came with two remotes. I hadn't even thought about it but since we have no door from inside the house to the garage, John recommended installing a safety lever so that we could get the garage door open in case we lose power, which we quite frequently do. So there's a key/lever I can activate to unlock and manually open the automatic door. Very cool. He was so nice, left the area clean, and gave me a ton of explanation about everything. All of the extra work, safety lever, and an extra remote (3 total) for$490. I'm so happy I can now park my car in the garage!!!

Door came off track due to failed cable. We were trapped! James, the owner, came out on a Sunday. He was quite prompt, and pleasant. He quickly repaired the door, replacing the worn cables. He then lubricated all the joints and checked the opener. Door works better than before. Very modest charge for Sunday service, and we can get to work Monday. Highly recommend, and will definitely use again.

He came on a Saturday at no extra cost.  We had routine maintenance done on our garage door and reprogramed the remotes and the outside pad.  The lights in the garage door lifter were not working... not only did he fix them, he told me how to fix them myself next time they don't work.  Some people might have just fixed it and waited for me to call again when it failed.  He chose to educate me about how the system works.  He also found a place where one of the door panels was being damaged due to flexing.  I decided to have him reinforce it, and the price for that was very reasonable. When he finished, every thing worked well and quietly.

Very knowledgeable, diagnosed problem in 15 minutes and fixed it promptly.

I have used the big name Reno garage company in the last year and was shocked at their price and they really did not completely fix the problem.  I had another door on a very old garage stop working so I tried George and Sons based on their reviews. I am extremely happy with their service and their price was a shock!!! Half of the other company I used before. They were on time, they were polite, explained everything to me and fixed a very old door. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

 

I called George and sons at 9 AM Sat morning. James arrived as stated at 10 AM.  At 11 AM the door was working perfectly.  After replacing the broken spring he did a complete tune up of the door.  Perfect service.

They were really good; it is a family business and they were referred to me by another vendor. The guy who came out was nice; reviewed the situation and fixed the springs. He was on time for our appointment, smiled as he worked and did not take any time at all to do the job. I had a good impression of him and he did not try to rip me off. He had me climb up the ladder and explained what he was doing; I had a good impression.
