Ashley has unbelievable experience and will guide you to the product that fits your taste and decor of your home. They are always prompt and pick up and deliver in the most professional way. I used Evco numerous times and have always been more than satisfied with their work. They've quoted reasonable prices and delivered in the time frame that they said it would take. They have also made excellent recommendations on use of fabric in the upholstery work that they have done and guided me away from some choices they thought I would not be satisfied with. When they were working with me to re-upholster my sofa for the second time in 12 years, their designer suggested eliminating the skirt and painting the legs to give it a new look that was a little more contemporary to go with some other changes I was making.

This experience was profoundly disappointing. Evco forgot to order carpet pad and delayed the installation by one week because of it. What we wanted didn't arrive on time and had to be substituted. Person who was supposed to move furniture the day of the install never showed up. Carpet doesn't match the swatch we began with or the subsequent custom swatch because the first color choice had been discontinued. We had painted prior to the carpet installation based on the first swatch and had to repaint all the rooms where the carpet was installed because of this. Drapery and upholstery fabrics were chosen based on original swatch of carpet which was not the final product. Specified custom window shades to hang to the window sill but not beyond, but one shade hung longer than the sill and installer acted like that was how it was supposed to be. The shades and upholstery were done before the carpet installation; Evco wanted to install them on a given day which was the same day as the carpet install; why wouldn't they know this? The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. While we were waiting to hear back from the carpet rep. regarding the final color, Evco wanted to get paid for the shades and upholstery. They are due out to rehang the shade that is too long. No adjustments have been made to the invoice since apparently they forgot to include the markup. This was still a very expensive transaction considering all the aggravation. Evco denies the final carpet color is different from the test swatch. I am unable to provide photos of the carpet swatches because Evco still has them.

Don was very helpful and professional. His work was outstanding, his price was fair. He was on time for appointments. He delivered all restored, refreshed and repaired furniture on time just as he had agreed to. I value his work highly. The furniture he worked on was in better than new condition when he delivered it. I have already recommended his work to a technician that was providing us with pest control services. Yes, I would use him again. We will also be purchasing curtains for the front room and master bedroom from EVCO. He is the second generation owner of this business. His grown children also work at EVCO so that means that his family has 3 generations and more than 50 years experience in this business. I consider EVCO to be the best at this business of furniture repair and restoration. I recommend his business highly to anyone who needs these services.

Got estimates from 3 upholstery firms identified on Angie's List. Also checked BBB. Chose EVCO based on price and info. Chose fabric after reviewing hundreds based on discussion with Don, owner, who brought samples to my home. About 2 weeks later chosen fabric received by EVCO and the 2 chairs picked up by them. Reupholstered chairs delivered to my home about 1 week later. Immediately, after delivery, noticed a small area on both chairs that wasn't finished correctly. Don came the next day and was genuinely upset that the problem had occurred. Don took chairs back and promised to deliver, properly finished, the next day. Chairs delivered the next day and were perfect! I was very pleased with the work that was done and also the immediate acceptance of responsibility for the problem. Don even had a small pillow made for me out of the same small piece ofl left-over fabric as a complimentary gesture for that rare problem.

EVCO Interiors came to my home first w/plethora samples and Don, the owner and an interior decorator, assisted me in choosing the best fabric and colors to match/complement my existing furnishings before sending employees to pick up and ultimately to re-deliver the furniture. The company was professional, timely, and great to work with every step of the process.

Overall the experience was OK, hence the and quot;Cand quot; grade, however we would ask more questions about the pickup and delivery process as described below, before we used this company again.
We had a leather couch and a leather love seat re-stuffed, which included replacing the inside seat cushions and replacing the inside back stuffing. The leather surfaces themselves were not replaced or repaired. We were very satisfied with the responsiveness in getting a quote, and very satisfied with the time it took to get the actual work done, just over a week. The quality of the work was adequate, within our expectations.
The most disappointing part of the experience was the pickup and delivery. The two people they sent struggled to get the couches out of the house and to their van, they had to set them down outside on the concrete several times, putting the leather surfaces directly on the concrete. The couches are heavy and rather bulky, but the movers simply did not seem to have enough strength or perhaps enough experience to do the job adequately. When they delivered the completed couches, they had punched a hole through the botton fabric - not a major issue, but certainly an irritant. The movers offered to and quot;stitch it upand quot; for us, but we declined. We called the office to complain, and asked for a small discount on the price because of the trouble we had, but they wouldn't adjust the price. They did offer to come pick the couch up and take it back to their facility to repair it, but we declined. We simply didn't want to deal with the movers again, and at that point we just wanted our couches back, so we stitched the hole up ourselves and called it good.

Again, all in all an it was OK experience, the work itself was good. But before we used this company again we would make sure our expectations could be met regarding the pickup and delivery.

They were extremely professional, and did the work in the time frame they estimated. They have been active in northern nevada for about 35 years and I have used them several times, as they are the best in northern nevada as far as I am concerned. They get especially busy around holiday time, but will be honest about how long the work will take. As this point in time, there is no other company that I trust to do a very fine job.

It was a good experience. I used them before. I had hoped to find somebody in Carson City, but there wasn't anybody. Their punctuality wasn't as good. The actual work was excellent.

It took 9 weeks to get my chair back. The lever was not fully repaired as promised. The upolstery was good. But the length of time it took was far too long and they never contacted me as to why it was taking too long. If you use them - have them take your piece of furniture when they have the fabric you ordered in hand. I am very disappointed with them. Had used them successfully in the past but will not use them in the future.

They were a bit slow responding to my emx to their website. After I called them, Nichole came out pretty promptly and gave me a bid. Chairs were picked up within a week. Chairs were re-delivered within ten days. The chairs look terrific. I'm really happy that I did it.
