 + -1 moreThis is a bad arrangement--4 tennants who don't know each other are rented individual rooms with a common living area. Manager promises to screen tennants and place tennants with similar traits together in the apt. The tennants have to pay utilities, themselves, and manager promises to assist if the division of utility costs are not fair. She fails to get involved after lease is signed--one tennant, whose name is on the utility bill is stuck for non-paying tenants. Not a good arrangement for students. Dishwasher and garbage disposer broken for most of the year and never repaired despite repetitive assurances from Sandy they were repaired.
Description of Work: Apartment rental next to University of Nevada-Reno. Promised security with security cameras--bicycle chainlocked in front of camera was stolen only to find none of cameras are functional. Numerous thefts reported in the complex and one person critically injured by a kniving at a party in one unit. Rent paid through entire month of July 2011 but tenants received notice that renovations to start July 15 and all personal items to be removed or tenant charged for disposal. July 11, 2011, kitchen cabinets ripped out, stove, dishwater disconnected and unit uninhabitable before the end of the lease. Manager, Sandy, response: "take me to court." For Parents of Students, Students, and University Housing Office: This is the worse and most violent apartment complex to live. Avoid this complex like the plague. No promise or guarantee from the manager can be trusted.
