My brakes were making a noise on occasion, and I was convinced I was facing a brake job.  They did a thorough inspection, drove the car, and determined that I still had some wear left and a brake job wasn't needed at this time.  Because they offer occasional service coupons, including one for a free check, no costs were incurred for their time.

They have been my auto repair shop of choice for the last three years, and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.  I have never been "upsold" to services that are unnecessary, and their staff is always professional and courteous.

Over time I had called several auto repair shops to get a cost for replacing the timing belt in my 06 Kia Sportage.  Pricing was anywhere from $1,000 - $1,500.  On Sunday, April 12 I saw a coupon in RGJ and called Christensen the following day to get a quote for parts and labor and scheduled an appointment for Thursday of that week.  Their pricing was less than $900 including parts, labor and taxes so was happy to find them.  Picked the car up at the end of the day - Mike explained the repair to my daughter and I and gave us back our old parts per our request.  The following day I discovered that my air conditioning was not cooling.  I took the Kia back to Mike the following business day.  He and his co-workers discovered their was a blockage in an air pocket - fixed it - replaced all air conditioning fluids - per my request checked the brakes on the Kia - DELIVERED THE VEHICLE BACK TO ME AT WORK AT NO CHARGE!!!  I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!  I have a new auto repair shop and am so happy - THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HARD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was really good. I like that their shop was clean, they were really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they actually went below our estimate.

I dropped my car off at 0800 and was immediately helped. The waiting area, reception area, and entrance were very clean. The owner was very friendly and explain everything that need to be done.  When I picked up the car up, I was walked out to my car.  My overall experience was excellent.  I thought they were a little too expensive, but you get was you pay for.

They were very prompt, honest and thorough. He explained everything and said that if we really wanted one they would do it but advised against it. (Waste of money and possibly more problems with fakes).

They explained to us exactly why we didn't need the extra cooling device and showed where problems could result with extra connection leaks and stoppages that could damage other parts of the car. They were very thorough and proffesional and gave us good information and advice. They were also prompt, not making us wait and courteous. We diffently will use them again.

No problems, as it should be.

I took my car in with a starting problem, oil change, check engine light.  They could not duplicate the starting issue but found I had a leaking leak detector pump and the car was running hot.  I had them replace the pump and put in a new thermostat, which they had recommended.  I also got a tune up in case that was contributing to the issue.  The service advisor/owner, Aaron Christensen, was very polite and accomodating.  I intend to use them again.
The one issue I have is that about a month later, I was having the same issue concerning starting.  I had my battery tested and it tested bad, so I got a new one.  They did not advise whether or not they tested the battery, although I would think that's a place to start (no pun intended) when someone brings in a vehicle that has problems with starting.   So...if they didn't test, they should have.
   
I did continue to have starting problems while in Sacramento so I had a new starter installed there which seems to have fixed the problem.

I found their service pleasant and professional, and felt I was in good hands.  This is their new 3rd location, having been in business for some time in the Carson City and Gardnerville areas.  I've been told that they have a good reputation in those cities.
