BEWARE!!!
McKay services came out to our house. Said they needed to pull the pump out and clean the cage, then clean the sides of the well casing. They scrubbed the casing, which actually made matters worse, as we lost approximately two feet in depth. They then said we needed to dig a new well for appx. $25,000 to $30,000, and did not include trenching to the house.
Very close friends put their house on the market, and the buyer had McKay come inspect the well. The McKay rep told the buyers that they had been out to this house "several times" for well problems, and that the house needed a new well. McKay (or any other well service) has NEVER been to this house, and there was absolutely no problem with the well, as determined by another well company.
"The pumps we supply are higher quality and we offer a warranty."
