"Mr. [Member Name Removed]; from what I can see, we provided service for you in 2014. Just curious why you are responding now, 3 years later. If you were not happy with the service, you should have called us immediately. If you recently called for service and we were not able to respond quickly, please understand that we have been short staffed for technicians and the winter/summer weather put us far behind. We are trying our best to accommodate all our callers, but there are only so many hours in a day. Any reputable pest control company will have a 2-3 week waiting list. We are very sorry that you felt our responsiveness and punctuality were not satisfactory and hope that in the future you will let us be of service to you."
"Mr. [Member Name Removed]; in response to your message. When we are told by a customer that they have bed bugs we read (or give to the customer via email, mail or fax) a preparation sheet. If the customer has no email and the time is to short to mail it, we read from the sheet to the customer. In it, it DOES NOT state to remove items from the kitchen. Only items in affected rooms; i.e. bed rooms, living room couches and chairs. Yes, all clothing, bedding items need to be washed and placed in plastic bags prior to our treatment, items in dressers, nightstands need to be emptied as well. I apologize if you misunderstood our directions, or if the office staff mislead you. Did we eliminate your bed bugs? We didn't get a phone call from you stating that you still had a problem, so therefore, we assume that the problem was eliminated. The technician is my daughter and I don't believe that she would make a statement like that, but maybe that is what you believe she said. I am sorry that you were not pleased."

So I called Bonanza. The woman on the phone was very nice. She said they were busy and couldn't come for a couple of weeks, I whined and she kindly scheduled the appointment sooner. When the exterminator came (a little late, but remember that I was a squeeze-in), he discussed the options with me: inside or out, or both, what kind of pests, etc. He explained that due to the warm winters, ants just didn't go away seasonally like they used to. He said that just spraying outside might not do the job, but since that was my preference, he'd do it that way and give me a lesser rate if he needed to return.
He sprayed for some time, and I haven't seen an ant in my kitchen since. I think it may be the best $70 I ever spent.
