Dusting was less than second rate as was the cleaning of the kitchen.

The girls who cleaned our house were prompt, professional, and pleasant; however, I expected a bit more complete cleaning. This was not because the girls were negligent or lazy or slow. Quite to the contrary, they worked hard and graciously did specific cleaning tasks I requested. It was because the company gives them only a limited amount of time to clean each house. In my opinion it was not a sufficient amount of time to do a thorough job. With that said, I admit to being rather OC about cleaning, so perhaps my expectations are a bit unreasonable. They did as good or better as any other cleaning company we tried. Consequently, we probably would use them again.

We have used this service since April of 2012. They have always arrived on time and they do call with a day ahead to be sure you remember they are coming. Usually two women come. They come in and get right to work. It takes them an hour to complete the cleaning. They move right along and use their own cleaning products, vacuums and cloths. We have been very pleased with this agency and the caliber of workers. One nice thing is you can request the same cleaners so they do know your premises and what you want. They come every four weeks and I really look forward to this service..when they go, the house is spick and span and smells wonderful. There service is very appreciated by myself.
I do think there cost is right in the ballpark with any other service of this type.

American Housekeeping of Northern Nevada scratched my coffee table, it cannot be replaced. It can't even be refinished. I gave them 3 tries and I didn't really notice it until probably the 3rd time. I didn't think think they were thorough enough for me and when I saw the scratches that was it. When I complained after the first or second time, their supervisor came out and observed them while they were cleaning. They were supposed to bring their own stuff and it was halfway decent than mine so I let them use mine and I think they were too rough on the equipment. They were extremely professional but the cleaners didn't match.

In the beginning, the cleaning was fairly good to very good. It took two employees two hours to clean my house excluding the bedrooms and some shelves. Then they sent an efficiency expert who said it should only take one hour for two people to clean my house. She didn't clean the bathroom floor or shower walls, didn't clean any furniture, skipped large areas when vacuuming the carpet and barely touched anything in the living room. The living room furniture was covered in dust and there were clumps of dog hair everywhere. The other employee who had been coming here since the start of service did a great job cleaning the kitchen and dusting the family room.
When I stated the bathroom hadn't been cleaned well and there was pet hair everywhere, she explained that the company was losing money at $50 per hour and I could either pay a lot more for the two hour cleaning, or live with the one hour job.
It's difficult to review this company. If they had stayed at the quality service level before that final visit, I would have keep using their service indefinitely. But cutting the job quality in half left me no choice but to fire them.

It was a terrible experience. They did not do several of the items that were on their list. The kitchen floor was not scrubbed and there was still juice marks on it. The kitchen cabinets were not washed, only wiped as there were juice stains that were there before. The carpets and furniture looked good but the tables in the living room still had a spill stain on it. I called them and they sent someone out the next day to fix it. It wasn't much better. The kitchen floor looked great but the counters still had not been washed. The living room tables still had spills on them. Theses were only a couple of problems I had.
I was very disappointed. I do not recommend them unless you just want enough cleaning to get by.

They were very good. I like them. They did pretty much everything that I asked them to do at a reasonable price. It was a positive experience. The guy who came to give the estimate was friendly. He explained everything really well. Three ladies came for the work. They were friendly. They knew what they were doing. They did the job well and efficiently. Their price sounded reasonable. The guy came right away to do the estimate. They were on time. They were available to do the work on that day. I would use them in the future.

Overall, they are a decent company, I would prefer more punctuality and specificity in timing, and more attention to detail on the items they say they will clean.

The housekeepers are friendly and professional. The quality of their work is not quite what we would like but it is adequate. At one point I called the supervisor about the level of cleaning. She came out to do an inspection of the work, and said that she would be back for periodic reinspections. That was 2 months ago, and I haven't seen her back. Overall we are satisfied.

I've been a regular customer for over 6 years, at a rate of 2 housecleanings per month. On my most recent service, the team of 2 cleaners arrived promptly at 8 am. They brought all the necessary supplies with them, and got to work right away. They started in the master bathroom and worked their way to the opposite end of the house. It takes them about 1.25 hours to complete the job, on average. The team has changed personnel over the years, but they are always cheerful, careful with my stuff, and very happy to adjust the cleaning for the day depending on how much use the house had (houseguests, parties, etc.)
