Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

We recently had a leak with our heating/cooling systems, and after soliciting recommendations from friends in the Reno/Sparks area, we went with Allen Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. Even though they were slammed as this is their busy season, they were able to fit us in within a few days. Once they arrived, they were very professional and diagnosed and fixed our leak within the hour! We've already scheduled for routine maintenance for our heating systems in the Fall. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Lamont was FANTASTIC! I had a slow leak from my water heater. Called another company first, guy didn't show up, didn't call me back, finally got him to come out a week later and immediately said it'd be $650. I got rid of him, googled the price of expansion tanks ($40-$200) called Lamont and he was so nice. Since it wasn't an emergency, I texted him pictures and we set a time and he showed up when he said he would. Told us what was going on, was about $140 to fix, and really was very nice and reassuring to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone and we will definitely be using him in the future.

Lamont Allen runs an efficient shop. He is polite, punctual and a master plumber. He was first to give me a bid on the work required and his bid was lower than most of the others, and he was ready to work the next day. He spotted a leak in my water heater that would have been disastrous and fixed it. Lamont is very trustworthy. I would recommend him highly.

Our furnace motor has been making scary noises, and this morning it went. The good news? We've found our plumbing/HVAC company for the long haul. In fact, I told him to give us a price on a new AC this spring and put us on the annual check-up list. Yeah. That good. Lamont Allen is amazing. The job was quickly diagnosed. He had motors on the truck. Had that puppy installed, and BTW fixed a couple other items that were affecting the efficiency of our system. Allen Plumbing was our second call. We needed someone ASAP since we were flooding our garage and drywall was soaked. The first caller said they could come our in "about 2 weeks." Lamont called us back immediately; showed up 2 hours later and did a fantastic job. Helped us manage our hot water return and replaced and cleaned up everything as needed. Would highly recommend and will use again.

I called another plumber to come out a couple weeks ago to install the earthquake straps. After messing around for a while, he said that we would need to pull the water heater out in order to get the earthquake straps installed properly, because of its location. He had already made a pretty big mess so I told him I would think about it. I called Allen because of the great reviews, and I am so glad I did! For half the price, he came out with another great employee of his, and got the straps installed properly within 30 minutes. They did not have to drain the water heater and remove it in order to do this! In addition, they were both super great guys, really friendly and personable, and very professional. I would recommend and use them again in a heartbeat. Oh, they also vacuumed and swept up what little mess they did make! Great company.

He was extremely gracious, responded almost immediately and came out within hours on a Sunday. Located the issue promptly and replaced the inoperable part. Would call again and highly recommend their service!

Four phone calls to business number and his personal cell number, but never called back. First call November 10th and fourth on December 1, 2017. Have to hire another plumber. Sad, disappointing and unprofessional.

Before making a decision we called Allen Heating for a second opinion. Lamont squeezed us into his schedule the same day. When he arrived he immediately determined that it was just a leaking supply line. He fixed the problem and saved us a ton of money. He is extremely competent, experienced, and professional. It's clear he holds his work to high standards. I could not be more satisfied. From now on, he's our go-to guy for plumbing and hvac.
