Advanced Sprinker Repair & Irrigation

The irrigation system at my new house was not working and I don't know anything about that kind of thing. Randy stopped by and quickly figured it all out and programmed the system. He gave us some tips on how to adjust the system throughout the year and gave us some new sprinkler heads that he said are hard to find.  

Randy showed up as both he and I set a time and date on the phone.  He set the timer in the garage correctly and showed me what was incorrect and why sprinkler was going off the same time set for the drip system.

He also showed me how to prevent a freeze up in the outside box which was information I did not know.  Worked the entire time and is cost was worth the money.

I would definitely call him again for outside irrigation problems or in the winter as a handyman for any repairs he could handle.

Randy arrived within the two-hour window he had designated for the appointment, and immediately got to work.  He identified the problem within seconds of opening the box.  He explained the problem and corrected it.  No parts were necessary, just a couple of adjustments.  I said that I had never used an automatic watering system before so Randy explained in great detail how the system works and also how to winterize it.  He then went to my control box, checked the settings, and re-programmed the system so that seasonal changes could be made more easily.  I am very happy with the service I received and would definitely use Randy again.

Randy was extremely professional and got right to the problem.  He had the issue resolved in a little over 1 hr.

We just moved to Reno 6 months ago and bought a house.  In early spring I realized that all the drip line was underneath the landscape fabric in the back yard......... a nightmare for gardeners.  I used Angie's List to find Randy and chose him because all the reviews were positive.  This is what I have to say about my experience with Randy.  1.  He calls you back promptly.  2.  He shows up when he says he's going to.  3.  If he isn't going to show up (rain day) he calls early to let you know and to reschedule.  He did everything I wanted, did a wonderful job, gave me a lot of good, useful information and went above and beyond what he HAD to do.  And when I wrote him a check that included a "little extra" for his tremendous work and effort, he called me back an hour later to let me know I had overpaid him.  Now who does THAT anymore!!!!!  Randy is honest, hardworking, dependable, does a great job, knows his stuff, and from now on out, "he's my guy"!!!!  You just don't find many like him anymore....

Randy arrived promptly on time to replace the valve.  He noticed the crack and leak in the manifold and repaired it and replaced the faulty drain that likely resulted in the breakage.  He explained all the changes he had made and did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price.  Thanks Randy!!

This is not the first time that I have used Randy Salinas's services.  He is always quick, efficient and very up front about what is going on with my sprinkler system.  I have always been very happy with his service.  I would highly recommend him.

The house was being sold and when the pest inspection was done, water was discovered in the crawl space.  It was determined that the sprinkler drain valves were leaking and they needed to be repaired immediately.  We called Randy at Advanced Sprinkler Repair and he came out the same day to diagnose the problem.  He shut the system down and was back the next day to make the repairs.  Randy was very professional, responsive and got the job done.  I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again.

When we started our sprinkler system last spring (May 2012) we had several broken sprinkler heads so we called Advanced Sprinkler because he had been out one time before years ago.  He had to dig a really deep hole at the base of a huge tree with huge roots and was not an easy hole.  He dug it and fixed the wiring and the other sprinkler head fast and correctly taking no breaks until the work was done and it took many hours.  I won't call anyone else in the future and our sprinkler system is ancient and is sure to need work.

My sprinklers were not working, so I called this individual. He was prompt, professional, conscientious, and quick. His price was more than reasonable, and he went above and beyond what he came to do (fixed individual sprinklers and set the timer for my watering days). I am so very satisfied and would recommend this company in a heartbeat.
