They were reasonably price, on time everyday, came out and finished the job for about 3 days. They were also personable and one of the sales guys came out to do a follow up.

They arrived and fixed pipe. I called 3 times to find out about the status of my septic tank cover, each time I was told I be called back to schedule a time. After the 3rd time of calling I decided that was enough and have not called back again. I never paid for the cover it was to ordered and installed. It has now been a month with no resolve from the company.

Water flowing onto kitchen floor from wall where valve located. Had to turn water main off to stop leaking. Called several companies attempting to get someone out same day. Got same-day service day after Thanksgiving where most other plumbing companies wanted to schedule day after or took hours to call back. Very professional technician. Had to purchase replacement valve. Once done, replacement took well less than 1 hour. Was able to turn water back on and no problems for a couple of days and counting. Would certainly hire again.

I have never been more disappointed in a service provider! Our waterheater died one evening. The next day we called around to several different plumbers. Roto Rooter was the first to come to our home and gave us a price that we thought was fair and was able to come out next day! We were very impressed with the technician and decided to go with their bid because we needed water in our residence ASAP. On the day of installation, the service window came and passed. My husband called the office only to learn that they no longer install our type of water heater. Not only was the technician not aware, but no one called to explain why they did not show. The ladies in the office were far less than considerate. We are on day 4 without water thanks to Roto Rooter's terrible service and lack of communication.

Called Roto-Rooter and they were able to send someone out immediately. From the time of the call to the time of arrival was less than 45 minutes. Upon the arrival of Ed the service technician he was very friendly, he got to work right away and completed the job in approx 30 minutes.This is now my second time using Roto-Rooter and both times have been a great experience!

The technician who responded was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and remedied the problem. Total time: 45-50 minutes. Excellent! However, the bill for those minutes was an effective rate of over $300 per hour! Roto-Rooter charges a flat rate for setting a commode. I was told this when the tech arrived and could have declined. I had been mopping water for three days and paid rather than go to the hassle of finding and waiting on another plumber. I really appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism and quality of the work. I didn't appreciate the price. Caveat: It has been years and years since I hired a plumber and am therefore, unfamiliar with their pricing. Maybe this price was normal.

Roto Rooter responded quickly after initial phone call....at house within 45 minutes. Both technicians were courteous, professional & communicated well throughout the process. What initially was thought to be a minor repair turned into 2 day demolition project to find the source (eventually discovered in 2nd floor bath.) Only surprise was hefty price tag.....however, my insurance claims adjustor looked at all receipts & confirmed they were reasonable charges (apparently, plumbers are one of the most expensive trades.) Cost below doesn't include structural repair (reframe corner wall/drywall replacement/painting.)

They had to cut the carpet out and part of the wall. They brought huge fans in to dry it all and sanitized it. It was a long three days. They showed up and stayed really late. They came out not realizing what they were getting into. They were here till 10-11 at night, they didn't give up.

The work is solid. They bypassed the leak and installed a new hose bib. This solved the problem and the basement no longer floods. The host bib is a bit unorthodox however. Repair man seemed knowledgeable and was very nice. Did not clean up very well and left us a mess to clean ourselves in the house. Roto-Rooter is overpriced for sure.

They were just quick to respond and they had resources with them. I needed to replace the water heater and it was on the weekend. They were able to help me right then. I had water all over my wood floor and they brought things to dry it out, so they had resources. The price was covered by insurance, but it was crazy. I don't think they were overpriced. I think that was just what it costs to come out on a weekend, in the middle of winter, when you have water all over your floors. It is what it is. They did a good job and they were quick. They were good.

From scheduling online to the service performed everything was wonderful! It was easy to schedule and I was happy to see I could have a later day appointment. I received confirmation quickly and was even contacted earlier than my appointment to see if the technician could come earlier. The technician, Brian, was very professional and knowledgeable. It was a difficulty problem and he was able to fix it. He explained the issues to me and even made recommendations for future care in order to avoid it. Even when there was a mess from an overflowing sink, Brian cleaned everything up. The cost for the services was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter and will call them again if I need any plumbing service. I would even use them over my home warranty company.

Excellent! I had actually contacted another plumber the day before. That company never bothered to show up or call. Roto-Rooter was the exact opposite. I received email confirmation of my appointment within minutes of my phone call. I was called to notify that the tech was on the way. The tech arrived on time, was professional, thorough, and cleaned up after himself. The only complaint is that the phone number on Angie's list needs to be updated. However, the correct info is on the Roto-Rooter site if you click that link.

I was told by the office the fee is based on time spent on the job at the rate of $75 per hour. Upon arrival the plumber informed me that the labor cost alone (for changing kitchen faucet) will be $279 with the estimated time to complete between 30 minutes to 2 hours. This would mean an hourly rate of at least $140. Lessons learned - be aware of huge price inconsistency.
