They were very good. I got them from the home show. They did a more expensive job for a good price than most of the other places. They go up my attic and patch the duct work and do the tubing for air-conditioning and things that other companies don't do. They did what they said they would and they were good. I have a same exact house which is two doors away that I use as rentals and the air conditioning out there goes off constantly, and I called them and got it fixed. Now, my electric bill is lowered and it feels a lot cooler in there and it is a lot cooler in my house. They give me a good price and I got a rebate. I paid $900 after the rebate that I got. They are no less than retail but they are reasonable. I’m going to use them again in the future.

I had the original estimate done 6 months ago. There was an Angies List coupon for $100. They still honored that. There is also a SW Gas Rebate which I am waiting on for $174.75. I don't know what happened to all the positive reviews here on Angies List. They are all erased!? That was why I chose the company. Everything went smoothly and quickly. They were done within 2 1/2 hours. They showed up a little late but called to let me know. Now I'll just have to wait until the heat and power bills come to see if it was worth while.

Chris came out to evaluate and estimate the amount of insulation needed. On installation day, Eduardo and Bernardo arrived on time. Eduardo explained what they would be doing and they got to work. The whole job was done in 3 hours, including a thorough clean up. We were very pleased with the job and with the pleasantness and professionalism of Eduardo and Bernardo. We definitely recommend G&R Insulation to anyone who needs insulation done on their home.

My home is a track home built in the early 80's. Single story, vaulted ceilings with stucco exterior. I was interested taking advantage of the rebate for insulation and saw G&R's ad in Desert Companion. "Chad" was on time to the appointment, answered every question I had, and never attempted to up sell me. Within a week the install started. The first crew, came and blew the insulation. Then the "painter" arrived to install the radiant barrier. By mid-day the foam installers started. Everyone impressed me. Very clean in the work they did and how they presented themselves. The foam injection was the most interesting process. Holes drilled into the exterior of the house, lots of holes. Foam is then injected. At this stage it looked like a mess. Foam on the sidewalk, dripping down the wall, ect. The crew explained that it simply sweeps off the stucco, and dissolves with a bit of water. Which it did, not a trace of mess anywhere. The next day a stucco patch crew came out. Patched not only the holes created by the crew but also patched a chunk of wall I had damaged with my bumper months ago. I cannot even find where the holes were. The radiant barrier had an odor during application, mostly in the garage where the painter had set up. The odor did not linger for long. Maybe an hour after he finished. After the foam was injected, I did notice a rotten egg smell on the interior walls. The foam had displaced the air inside the walls. The yuck factor lasted for a couple of hours. By the time I went to bed, it was fine. I can now sleep through the night without hearing my neighbors truck start every night at 11pm. Well worth every penny. Rare to find such prof. people.

No problems except losing power in the bedroom twice. Popping sounds as the foam filled the cavity.

The price was good. They had a machine that kept breaking and wasn't working right. The kept having problems with the radiant barrier. He's a good guy, good to work with and prompt. They did a good job with the fiber glass insulation. He said he normally does more commercial work, I probably wouldn't use them again.

They are very responsive and did a good jub. By my measurement they actually added more than contracted. I have two comments. First, blow in fiberglass is like a blanket of snow on top to my original pink insulation. This was unexpected, but entirely my fault for not reasearching more carefully. That said, the insulation works very well in preventing a heat buildup. The product looked like cotton, but I confirmed that it was fiberglass. I have not yet had to run the air conditioning, but I am sure my usage will be reduced. Second, they did not send a foreman to the site and the installer was not will versed on the jproduct. However, he did a fine job. I did think a foreman should have at least showed up for peace of mind.

I called 2 days before the appointment to set the appointment time. They arrived within one hour of promised time. There were 2 types of blow in insulation in the truck. I was told that it would take 39 batts of blow in insulation. There was not enough of either to complete the job so I asked about why the 2 types. I was told that it was not a big deal by the driver/installer. I decided to call the office asking for an explanation. I gave them the numbers on the bags and was told one was for use within the walls (so it would not pack down) but both were OK. The wall type insulation cost more per bag and has a slightly different color. Their order had not arrived when the truck left the company that morning. They continued with the installation. They cleaned up after themselves both inside and out as well as in the garage. I would recommend them. I only hope I do not need to enter the attic for anything as it is full of loose insulation. They said others could work in the attic with out a problem.
