RUN… THE…. ****…. AWAY… Have you ever had such a HORRIBLE experience with a company you literally have to talk yourself out of going to their building and doing something that will put you in jail?? I had to remind myself I have a loving wife and daughter and don’t need assault charges on my record….WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER….I have moved probably 20 times in my life including cross country….Never really had an experience this bad..I won’t go too deep, just know that they damaged or completely broke MULTIPLE ITEMS….And when my wife alerted the crew THEY DISRESPECTED HER AND SAID "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT **** HAPPENS…" No I’m not exaggerating that’s literally what the guy said….When she said seriously did you just say that to me He actually ******* DOUBLED DOWN and said "I been doing this for years I know what i'm doing" BUT WAIT IT GETS WORSE…. When brought to the attention of management they couldn’t have given less of a ****…It literally became my part time job to call and email them almost daily, to try and get my property repaired/replaced and to get an apology from the owners. (never did by the way) The staff were as helpful as they could be, but you could tell the **** off treatment came from the top…As I write this it has been A MONTH since my move and just this past week my bedroom set which had 3 of the 4 pieces heavily damaged was FINALLY repaired…There was also a $200 mini fridge that was dropped and broken…Got ZERO for that…. ZERO....not a ******* dime and you know what I just said screw it….I’m not calling or emailing anymore it’s not worth my sanity…EVEN THOUGH IT’S IN THE CONTRACT to cover damages…Seriously guys the absolute worst… LET’S RECAP HERE..…. Broke and damaged multiple items… Completely disrespected my wife (customer)…. Then made me (customer) spend countless amounts of time BEGGING for them to repair things and to have common decency as a company and make right the disrespectful attack on my wife….for a Thousand dollar move?? PLENTY OF QUALITY MOVERS around...use one of them…If you were on the fence with this company TRUST ME…be smart and go with someone else…

The move was a disaster from the beginning. The driver was supposed to show up by 9 a.m. Around 11 a.m. he called to say he would be delayed a couple hours. Based on where he told me he was at the time and the fact that he said he hadn’t had lunch yet, I believed he was overly optimistic about when he would arrive. Sure enough, he called around 2 p.m. to say he’d be there around 5; then called around 5 to say he couldn’t make it until the following day. When the driver did show up, there was only one worker who at one point wanted to experiment with packing several side tables in a bizarre manner that resulted in significant scratches on the table tops and legs. A third worker showed up for a few hours but then left without explanation. I don’t know if he left on his own or was told to go. Despite these issues, the California crew did an acceptable job loading the truck. What happened between the time the truck left our driveway and when it arrived in Denver is another story. Somewhere between California and Colorado, all of our items were unloaded off the one truck and then literally smashed into another truck. (We know this because ours were the only items in the truck when it left our home; the items arrived in Denver packed in the middle portion of the truck; and we could tell the items were damaged before they were carried off the truck into our storage unit.) Champion claims in its literature to have its own employees as movers. And Summer, the customer service person I spoke with on the phone, assured me that the company has employees rather than day workers. This was a lie. To be fair, I expected there to be some losses associated with the move. I know it must be impossible to avoid minor damage that is caused inadvertently even when everyone does their best to avoid it. This is the type of damage that you pay 60 cents a pound in compensation. It’s a small amount of payment for a small amount of damage. However, the type of damage done to our property was far beyond what anyone would consider normal. The reality is Champion Movers intentionally caused damage to our possessions. The damage was not accidental. Nor was it a result of carelessness or even negligence. This damage was intentional and reckless. It amounts to criminal vandalism. “Normal” compensation of 60 cents per pound cannot begin to compensate us for such deliberate, outrageous destruction of our property. Here are just a few examples of Champion’s actions: • Workers deliberately knocked the four wooden feet off of a china cabinet – apparently so it would fit better in the second truck – and cut the electrical cord for the cabinet light for no discernible reason other than maliciousness. They didn’t bother to replace the feet. • Despite there being more than enough room in the storage unit, workers folded two rolled carpets, breaking the carpet backing and requiring them to be replaced at a cost of almost $1,000. • An $800 barbecue grill we had purchased just a few months prior to our move was completely destroyed. The top of the grill was battered due to a lawn mower being placed on it. The side shelf was bent and twisted because the workers rested a king-size mattress on it. Champion workers also managed to destroy the two doors of the cabinet and even dislodged a metal emblem with the manufacturer’s name on it. Again, even stupidity doesn’t explain this damage. It was pure vandalism. Dropping the barbecue off the top of the truck couldn’t have caused more damage. • Speaking of the above mattress, the workers folded this as well for no legitimate reason whatsoever. There was more than enough room in the storage unit to place the mattress on the floor standing upright. It’s outrageous to even think about placing a heavy mattress on top of a grill’s unsupported shelf. • Despite the promise from Summer that the workers would rebuild anything they took apart, they had no intention of doing so. Our dining table’s legs were not reattached. Desk legs were not reattached. Two metal storage units were disassembled and not reassembled. Other wire storage shelves were bent and pieces were missing or broken. • The original movers also took apart several bookcases but failed to wrap them properly and didn’t bother to tape the shelf support pins to the units. As a result, pins were lost, making the bookcases unusable when we tried to put them back together. Again, the workers had no intention of rebuilding the bookcases and would have been unable to do so anyway given the failure to properly pack them. • An artificial tree was destroyed in the move. Broken branches were strewn in various places of the storage unit. Champion workers demonstrated not an ounce of care, concern or professionalism when unloading the truck. • A two-door storage unit was ruined when Champion workers broke the handle off. I would have expected well-trained employees of a professional moving company to let us know when they destroyed property. At a minimum I would expect them to tape the handle to the door rather than to simply toss it away, which apparently the employees did. • Summer promised TV boxes for two of our televisions. We purchased a TV box for another of our TVs. They are expensive and come with foam padding. We didn’t get the promised TV boxes, though. What we got instead were mirror boxes. The workers actually put the TVs into the boxes upside down. They added absolutely no packaging to protect the TVs. And then they laid the boxes – which were clearly marked “DO NOT LAY FLAT” – flat in the storage unit with heavy items on top of them. Is this what Champion trains its “employees” to do? Not surprisingly, due to Champion’s negligence and carelessness, the screen on one of the TVs was cracked and had to be replaced. • Champion workers quite literally threw and shoved our furniture into the storage unit, having no consideration whatsoever as to the damage they could cause. One result was having wood Adirondack chairs poke into two very expensive leather chairs, scraping and creating sharp indentations in the leather. • At least 20 percent of our plastic storage bins were destroyed during the move due to improperly stacking heavy items on top of them. I view this as a casualty of a move and more-or-less expected this type of damage. However, as an illustration of the callous disregard demonstrated by the crew that unloaded the truck, we found a Christmas wreath literally smashed between boxes and furniture when it easily could have been tossed on top of other boxes and left unharmed. Champion workers went out of their way to cause damage. They had no problem tossing boxes marked “fragile” yet seemed unable to toss a wreath that weighs less than two pounds on top of the piles of damaged boxes they created. The outrageous and completely unacceptable ways that Champion Movers manhandled, mistreated and destroyed our items is apparently standard procedure for the company. We could see damaged storage racks and battered boxes as soon as the side doors to the truck were opened at the drop-off location. Moreover, we constantly complained to the driver about the way the workers were handling our items. They were tossing boxes to each other, sometimes dropping them on the ground. All the driver would say was, “Don’t worry! It’s fine. There’s no problem.” In addition, we had the workers call out the box numbers as they were unloading the truck. There were 15 missing boxes. Again, the driver minimized this and even denied there were missing boxes. “Don’t worry about it. It’s fine. They’re all there.” The driver even got upset when we insisted on writing down that the boxes were missing. It didn’t matter, though. When we reported the missing boxes to Mercy in customer service, she never responded. Due to purchasing a new home that was under construction, our items were in storage almost nine months. When we recently moved the items (using a far more competent moving company) we discovered a box that does not belong to us. It is labeled with the same color, blue, as our labels but belongs to someone who wa

Everything up front was great. The price was good, the timing and arrival for pick-up was as expected, and the guys doing the loading were efficient. But the service on the delivery in Denver was lousy. It’s as if they know they have your stuff, so they don’t care about service. The truck was caught in snowy weather in the mountains, and they forgot to brings snow chains, so they missed their delivery window. When I called the main office, they had no idea what was going on with the truck problems, and really didn’t seem to care. The truck finally arrived the next morning, but a large chest of drawers was missing, and the bed frame was damaged. Some of the boxes were obviously thrown around and damaged as well. I do not recommend using Champion to anyone, as they were unwilling to give us any price break due to the delivery delay and the inconvenience it caused.

I am a senior and needed help getting my home packed and moved. The crew was fast and efficient. They were also so friendly and courteous. The move went well from beginning to end and I couldn't be happier. It's not easy for us old folks to do as much as the younger crowd so the time the crew took to focus their attention on my needs was critical.

The move went over very smoothly and was very cheap considering that I had a lot of large furniture that there three guys lifted with ease. They were very professional and seemed like they knew what there doing. There sales manager Lauren walked me through the whole process and she was extremely nice and patient and explained to me exactly how this whole thing works. Definitely going to refer to my friends.

They took the wrong things. They did not ask my husband if his leather business case with his papers, mail, bills, should be stuck in a locker for a year & a half. They knew we were packing for our trip to CO for year. So WHY DID THEY TAKE MY CARTY-ON? It has my jewelry, electronics, medications...it is in a 30-foot storage locker! So is my makeup! From by my sink. My hair stuff—they left. They left the glasses and glass plates. They packed up the paper plates. REALLY? We called and they won’t call back. They charged over 1,000k to steal our stuff. I hate them!!!

It was a miserable experience from star to finish. Price estimate and packing was an abortion. Staff consistently misspoke, changed stories and everyone gave different answers. It took 3 weeks to receive our processions, with 3 promised dates for delivery. The “Driver “ as it were never answered his phone and when he did have ambiguous nasty answers. Additionally many items arrived damaged. Key individuals to never deal with again would be the apparent owner Moishe, Tonya, dispatch supervisor and whoever the driver is. He wouldn’t give his name but we do have a picture of the nasty individual. Never use these people

From beginning to end, it was a smooth process. Summer and Noreen were wonderful. Noreen's evaluation of the household were spot on and she gave realistic timelines and advice to ensure that there was no questions or doubts about the services offered. The loaders in LV were wonderful as well as the delivery men in FL. Zero complaints and only accolades to this company. We packed all but a couple of art pieces. We can happily say that two items were damaged in transit; one light bulb and one caster on a filing cabinet, which we packed. That's incredible for an entire household including garage and patio items being shipped across country. While I hope to not move again, I wouldn't hesitate to call Champion and also refer them to whomever needs relocation services.

One word AMAZING. It took me weeks to find the right place price etc. The cost was fair & cheaper overall compared to others in town. They were all so helpful to us. It was a really good experience with Champion. We had done a bed drive for a non profit and had 50+ beds with bedroom furniture to move from a Vegas pick up, back to Mesquite. I Called around , also saw some real good reviews for CM. Everybody else's pricing was crazy. But CM beat then all out. The guys were great. The peeps at their main office we're very nice & spot-on too. I've already booked them again for yet another non profit furniture drive, that we're having in June. If they keep giving me good deals, I'll continue to use them. Don't always have to use the popular overpriced places. These guys are on point.

I was not happy at all. They failed to add stairs to the estimate, in spite of coming and doing an on site visual. They left a linen closet full, which I had to pack into an already full Civic. They asked me to sign saying everything was packed, and we talked across objects left on the floor when asking. My bike needed more than $200 in repairs because the frame was bent, so I had to replace it. The front wheel of the bike was detached and wound up with someone else's move but was eventually found. The person that did the estimate said they would be there to supervise on moving day, but never showed up. And when my things finally arrived, they suddenly couldn't take a cashiers check - only cash. I called and was finally able to talk them into taking it anyway, but this was not the policy when I chose them for the job. When you pay more than $3,000 for a job, you expect it to be done right.

I finally decided to buy myself a new living room and dining room set but didn't think about what I was going to do with the other stuff LOL. I needed it moved and had no clue where to start. So, I saw the Angie's List commercial like a lot of people & came on here and saw a lot of great reviews for Champion Movers. I called about 5 places & Champion's pricing was much less than any of the other guys I talked to. I thought their pricing was fair and reasonable. Everyone from the office staff when I first called with my 50 questions LOL & the movers were very nice & very helpful. Total Pros! I never knew they were in town, but I will use them again if I need something moved & I've actually already referred them to a good friend of mine. Thank you for making this easy painless experience.

We decided to redo our garage and make it a room. So the fun part, emptying the garage. No idea where to begin , so we checked out reviews saw some good ones for Champion. From the first call the staff was really helpful and very friendly. They gave us a fair quote. No BS my kind of place. Arrived on time, stuff was packed properly, moved nothing was damaged which is always a plus when dealing with this type of situation. For the first time in a long time no drama with a company I never used before . I'd definitely recommend hiring them & already have. I loved that they do what they say they're going to do & do it well.

Great place! We bought a ton of furniture to stage our home 4 sale. Called several places that could do a local move, but on my timeline. Champion gave me the best price out of the five places I called hands down. Everything arrived in time. My timeline was an issue cuz my house needed to be staged ASAP. Didn't even know that they were in town. Saw a few reviews for them and really glad I called and used them . I'd definitely do it again.

Had a death in the family. No idea where to turn for help moving stuff. I heard about Champion. Who knew I would find a moving company not far from my house, that would be able to help me. Thank goodness for Champion. They were sympathetic to my situation. I needed furniture moved quickly and at a decent price. The price was fair based on other companies that I reached out to & they were right on time. The movers were professional and the staff was incredible to me. I had no idea that this company was in town, searched reviews & I'm glad that I went with them. I would absolutely recommend this company.. Talk about awesome. We bought basically everything at a huge estate sale in Boulder City Nevada about an hour and a half outside of Las Vegas and no way to move it. I couldn't resist... So the search began for a local company that could move it to my location quickly and for a great price. Got great references from a few other people here in town and called Champion. They were able to move everything quickly, at a fair price and everything arrived as pristine as it was when it was packed up. Everybody was really nice and helpful from the first phone call to the guys that dropped the stuff off. No issues, not a one. How often can you say something like that right? I will definitely use them again and also refer to other peeps I know in the estate sale buying game.

"Estate sales are becoming a big business here in Las Vegas. We are getting more and more moves along these lines as well as consignment store moves. We have really great low rates on local moves and low minimums as well. These movers are all directly employed by us. We do not use any daily labor. Therefore, they are professionally trained to care for these goods. Thank you for taking the time to review us!"

Talk about fantastic I mean really great experience. My mother-in-law is moving in with us we had to move her in kind of quickly. This company provided a very fair price for the amount of stuff we had to move. Stay explained everything in detail. The staff was professional knowledgeable and very helpful, especially when trying to explain some of it to my mother-in-law even though I was paying for it Lol. She was very concerned about some of her special items being damaged during the move, not an issue everything arrived perfectly, which made her happy and made everyone else happy. It really could not have been easier. I called them, told them when we needed it done. Then they gave me two different quotes based on the amount of stuff we were going to move or not move, ( much cheaper than the three other places I looked at much cheaper than the three other places I looked at) everything arrived on time and the moving guys were great. Definitely would hire them again if something like this popped up and will absolutely refer them if someone asked me who they should use for a move.

We collected a huge amount of donations for some of the local animal rescues here in town, for the specific reason of helping nearby animal lovers in a different state. I needed somebody to pick up all the items and deliver then to an out of state animal donation drive. The donation rally went so well here, a regular U-Haul moving truck would not do it. I'd seen the commercial for Angie's List before, but never used it. figured I'd give it a try and I found this company on here. I saw all the reviews and I was sold. Champion really came through as far as price too. I don't know about you guys but what I was doing nobody beat their price. Was Extremely fair for the distance ( Also factoring in winter weather) and the amount of items that had to go into that truck. Nobody else was going to be able to do it as quickly as we needed them to, but champion did. Office staff was very professional and helpful. I had a lot of questions! But they were all answered honestly no surprises in the end.. The moving guys were great and on time. Because they were able to do this when I want them to , not when they wanted to.. we were able to get these incredible donations where they needed to be in a timely manner. Will I Use them again ? Oh yeah absolutely I would. Have already referred others.

This company are thieves! I am on the way to file a claim through in the court and will not leave this behind! Absolutely zero, and i mean zero zero zero customer service and understanding of how to run a fair business. After giving a closer look on what had happened and the condition Champion Movers executed our move, I am undisputedly confident that this was by far the worst customer service I had encountered in my entire life. I was able to analyze the setting of the move, work of the drivers and the team on the first attempt of the delivery, misleading information provided by different members on different stages of the job, miscommunication between members of the company's team that directly affected me a customers and lead to a lose of significant income and , of course, the theft of all most valuable items directly from the boxes. We estimate (without any exaggeration) value of stolen items beyond 13,000$ and similar value of broken furniture/items. In other words, the damage to me and my family that Champion Movers is 100% responsible for is over 20.000$ in a very low and fair estimate, not calculating moral losses. We had to involve police to make a proper report and list of stolen and damaged items. Here are just SOME of the issues while their "service": 1)Estimate and “final” balance. During the initial talk and giving the representative an inventory, she estimated the cost of moving at 3040$. I gave a detail and well described list of the things we are moving. Once the items were loaded on the truck it turned out that if I would go with the same binding estimate that I agreed on the cost of move would be close to 5500$. Estimate was made by pick up driver considering “weight” and space on the truck. I was advised to go with non-binding estimate that was couple hundred dollars less. Those estimated were done after the truck was loaded. So how is that possible that the same inventory I gave to your representative is now costing me almost twice more?! I was told by Tonya that I must have had much more items than I originally told. Absolutely and negatively not the case: we, actually, have decided NOT to take several furniture items and sold them before the pick up as we understood that those items will not be valuable at our new apartment. I have seen this practice between moving companies before- giving a very low estimate and than charging much more, it is extremely poor way of running the business. Sad that Champion Movers turned out to be practicing this approach. 2)”Shuttle” charges. I was originally told that if the large truck will not be able to find parking to load/unload near my home, movers will go and rent the small truck. That will cost me 500$ extra. I would not mind paying it if I see that loading on 18 wheeler is possible and smaller vehicle needed. This is EXACT conversation I had with your representative. I did my best to have the space available for the 18-wheeler to park during the day of pick up and guess what- a small truck arrived, basically by default. The driver even told me that they do not operate 18-wheeler trucks at all as they are just a small local moving company. Do you see the disconnect here? Why am I being charged 500$? The same situation with the delivery in California. No one ever tried to come on large truck- delivery was done by small local company that you sold the job to. Why was I charged for it? 3)”Exact” delivery date. I hired your company based one ONE and ONLY reason- you were able to guarantee exact delivery date that was Saturday (13th October) or Sunday (14th October). I paid my dues for exact delivery dates- 500$. If you notice those days are Saturday and Sunday. Weekend day that I chose to be available and trusted this company. I work in a company that required me to travel for work during week days. So, not only a fact that the delivery driver demanded money on Sunday at 7 pm (!!!!) while on the way to us, though I did pay full balance way ahead of time with the CC, he showed up almost by 8 pm unable to do the delivery at that hour as it was to late. He simply said that will re-deliever tomorrow and left. Here is what happened after: I have to call of work on Monday- think about loosing 400$ daily income. I have to cancel flight- thing about loosing another 500$ Hotel stay that night -200$ I call Monday morning (around 9 am) asking when I can expect re-delievery today and was told that dispatch was busy and will call me back. At around 3 pm I was informed that delivery is not happening and is coming on Tuesday (!!!!). I have to call of from work on Tuesday- think of loosing 400$ again!!!! Another plane ticket change- that was 250$. Hotel stay- 200$. 4) Broken items. Finally, with all the struggle, the items arrived. Once being unpacked I saw this: -Reclining chair (part of chair- couch and coffee table set)- base frame is completely broken, making chair unusable and unsafe, corners of leather couch and table from the same set have leather ripped of. -Two mirroring bookcases damaged inside and outside, scratched and shelves falling apart -Dresser with mirror (part of a queen bed and night stand set) has wooden base and legs damaged, making it unable to stand and open shelves, practically un-usefull. Both, the dresser and the nightstand have water damage on them. -2 large boxes with various items smashed -2 medium boxes had water or something like that leaked on that created mold inside and clothes unwearable. -frame box damaged with all the pictures shaded 5)Stolen Items. From box (Plastic crate, sealed with tape). Hidden Fees, twists and turns, They push for cash over credit. I am in the middle of a move with Champion Movers. A few days before delivery they decide now that they will need to charge hundreds extra for a shuttle because my delivery is near water? Hundreds of semi-trucks drive down my road. They told me I had to pay the drivers the $400 directly in cash because that money is for the drivers who have to transport your things and move them to a shuttle. (Note: When I had my inital call I was told there could be additional charges for things like shuttling if the driver can't get the truck down a driveway, but at most like $100. When I reminded the customer service person of this conversation she simply said no one would have told me that was a ballpark. Yea, I was there you weren't lady.) I asked and re-asked when I signed the contract if I could pay 100% on credit cards. I was reassured I could, until now. If I wasn't annoyed with the unexpected $400 for shuttling I would be livid about the under-the-table cash payment they want to strong arm me into giving the drivers. You basically have all your belongings held hostage. They will deliver your stuff, but the business is a racket. In the end with hidden fees the quote I received from them that was way cheaper than a UHaul or other movers ended up increasing the the same level as if I had gone with a reputable company. I was originally told by customer service my furniture would arrive in Virginia 12/26, 27 or 28/2018. They called me and informed me about a week prior. I then heard from the driver on 1/1/19 that my furniture would arrive 1/3/19 around noon. In the afternoon I received a call that my furniture was yet again delayed and would arrive 1/4/19 between 8 am and 10 am. It is now 1 pm on 1/4/19 and no sign of my movers or furniture. My suggestion is to go with any other moving company than Champion Movers. They are unprofessional, inconsiderate and frankly a horrible company. I've taken two days off work to be home for the delivery and missing pay after already being charged an additional $400 this week by them (which they tried to demand in cash). Now I am losing pay too?!?!
