There were several items missing from my jewelry armoire after I unpackaged the tape, which they had wrapped the item in. The only items missing were gold jewelry. I also have a chair sliced, which is part of a set of dining room chairs and cannot use for the set now. I have been trying to contact the company for two weeks now and they are not returning my phone calls, nor my emails. I had to file a police report for the jewelry items missing and I have notified them of this report - still no reply (email or phone). I have a chair with a slice in it, and am out several thousand dollars of jewelry items. The company had recommended that I obtain insurance for my move from an outside insurance agency - which they referred me to. Ironically enough, this insurance agency is telling me that jewelry is not covered from the items I can claim. Not only is this the worst part - I had to live out of a suitcase for 3 weeks, since they did not deliver my items for this long. They informed me the delivery would take no longer than 2. They had my belongings for 3 weeks. I would never recommend this company for moving. In addition to all of this, I have contacted the BBB to tell them of the situation. I am also contacting an attorney. This is the worst experience I have endured with a move ever. I do not recommend this company, and I hope no other person endures this type of distress.
