 + -1 moreI don't remember how much it cost, but I think it was probably a reasonable amount. They did the job. They fixed it properly and they took a few days to complete the job. The price was probably average compared to what somebody else would charge. I took it to them because it happened to be the closest place to where I lived. I don't remember where I had purchased the vacuum cleaner, but it was probably a store where they don't do the repairs. I haven't had any problems with it since I had it repaired. I don't remember any problems with them not being professional. I don't know if they deal with sewing machines. There are some companies that would have tried to sell me a new vacuum cleaner, but they didn't do that.
Description of Work: Al's Vacuum and Sewing repaired my vacuum cleaner. The company does other repairs and sells products there.

 + -1 moreIt went great and the machine is running great. He also completely cleaned the vacuum inside and out. It almost looks like new!
Description of Work: Our vacuum had a burning smell and was losing suction. Expecting a big repair or having to buy a new vacuum, we brought the vacuum to Al's. One day later we contacted him and he told us that all that needed to be done was to clean a filter inside the machine. We told him that we serviced the machine once a year from the place we brought the machine from (free tuneup service for three years from merchant) and that they told us they did a complete check on the vacuum. He told us the filter had appeared to never be cleaned and that if we waited much longer the vacuum would have completely broken down.
