The crew arrived on time and were very professional. We were very nervous about out front door as it had just been replaced and did not want scratches or dents for the new homeowners. The door was padded and the threshold was covered. Throughout the day the crew worked and within 4 hours the house was backed in the van and ready for travel.

Our first estimate, some months prior to the move, included a projected cost for packing as well as moving. This was a local move, about 10 miles, moving an entire household. The sales person arrived on time, and gave us a quote of about $3400, which included the services of 3 movers for a total of 2 days, one day to pack, the next day to perform the actual move. In the intervening time period, my wife and I did a considerable amount of packing and moving many of the items we thought would be more difficult to pack or move, hence, many of the items that were in the original estimate had been moved by us. The salesperson came back to our home on Monday of the move week to confirm our needs, which had now reduced to a single day; a packing day was no longer required.
We got a call the day before the move, indicating they would arrive between 8-10am. We were somewhat concerned that a 10am start would cut the day awfully short, however, we got a call from the crew on their way, and they arrived about 9am. There was a crew of 3, initially, and they could not have been better. John, the crew leader, surveyed the situation, and his team of 3 worked diligently in getting started. As it happens, we still had a number of delicate items that still needed packing, and John promised that another crew of three would arrive shortly to assist. True to his word, they did. That crew. like the first, was extremely nice, introduced themselves, and got right to work. They had our entire house, inside, outside, and garage, loaded onto the vehicle in less than 3 hours. They were truly a team, extremely personable, joked and laughed with us as we directed and assisted where we could. I am marginally disabled, and they did everything they could to ease my concerns about the move.
I had them follow me to the the new home, and gave the crew a tour. One thing they seemed to appreciate was that we had color coded each box for the rooms in the new house, and had signs on each room with the proper color code. It was less than 3 hours later when they were done. Again, stellar interaction between us and they crew, and internally within their crew. They took only one break, near the end of the off-load. They put all the pieces/parts back together, such as beds, mirrors, and walked the house with us before completion to make sure all had gone to our satisfaction. Not a thing was broken or misplaced. They were incredible, and a fun group of guys. I simply could not recommend this company more highly for the fantastic way they assisted in our move!

By choosing Atlas Van Lines the problem is that you only know the local subsidiary. They were not to bad, but the movers who transport you to your destination and unload there were not the best, Berger out of California did the transport and unloading. They refused to uncrate and their counterpart in Charlotte wanted to charge $ 100.00 more to take away the crates. So an other company came to uncrate and he did a good job. In the end there was a lot of friction and we would not go with Atlas again.

Atlas moved me from Las Vegas to my new location in North Carolina.  They were phenominal.  The packed me up and moved everything here to my new home.  I had AAA and they told me that if I was AAA member everything was covered 100% insurance wise.  They did damage 2 pcs and they didn't hesitate to cover them and paid for them immediately.  I was more than impressed and getting ready to contact them again for another purpose.  I highly recommend this outstanding company.

Atlas Van Lines Movers did a very good job moving me. The move went very smooth. They did a good job loading everything and they followed directions and put everything where I wanted in the house. I didn t have any damage done to anything and I didn t have anything come up missing. I went with this company because they had the cheapest rates. I couldn't remember the exact amount.

Ace World Wide Moving and Storage did a very good job for us, although, they were not on schedule and we really didn't like that too much. Other than that, they did a great job. The people were very careful with our belongings and nothing was broken during the move.

Ace World Wide Moving and Storage did an spectacular job. We moved our dishes and smaller things but they moved all of the major appliances and furniture in our home. They caused no damage at all, not even a scratch to anything. They were helpful placing things where we wanted. They finished the move in one day and one trip. The truck was big enough to fit all of our things and then some.
