First of all I told them I would be out of town for a few weeks having surgery. When I was able, I called and was lied to, they told me they left several messages, which somehow weren't on my phone. So I told them, again I had not been available and we set an appointment. The technician brought the parts, but he said he couldn't guarantee it would work because the humidifier was not installed properly. I asked if he would give me an estimate to install it properly, he said sure, but and quot;you're not going to like itand quot;. So I'm waiting for an estimate in the house and he comes in with a bill for $313.00 but no estimate. I said I did not want him to install the parts, I wanted an estimate to have it installed properly! So, he goes back out, shortly he comes back in and said and quot;the boss instructed him to take out the new parts, put the old ones in and not to charge meand quot;, well now I'm in tears; I asked if he was going to give me an estimate and he said he could do that. Then he left and I never heard from them again.
I finally hired Carson Valley Heating, Inc. who did a wonderful job--no big deal for them at all!!!!

They were very prompt at the house within the hour, honest and courteous, I couldn't have asked for more. A plus!!

The technician checked the furnace in the attic and thought the issue was the
controller box and ordered a new one. He returned that day to install
it, but found the same problem. He removed the new controller and
reinstalled the original, (saving us the cost of the new controller).
He was able to identify the issue with a heat sensor that had corroded
with age and was not switching.
The Coastal Aire service tech kept us informed what was going on the whole time and finished the job
in a timely manner. He was very helpful in getting the furnace repaired while it still had servicable life. We are very pleased with their work and will use them again.

We have lived in our house for 8 years and have never had the air conditioner serviced so I figured it was time. I called to make an appointment. I left a voice mail. They called back to make the appointment. I would have expected a quicker call back, but that was the only thing that wasn't first rate. A service man came out. He was on time, very professional, extremely courteous and helpful. He showed me where we had two filters and only needed one. I asked if he would order me a new return air vent cover for the hallway (since ours needed to be upgraded in my husband's opinion). He said he could and actually had it to me later that afternoon. I was very pleased.

Called customer service, they sent a technician within the hour and it was fixed in an hour.

We needed a new furnace as ours had issues even before we bought our home. After getting several estimates and reading several reviews, we decided to go with Coastal Aire because it's a local busines, the owner had personally helped me understand the different parts of the unit and what we needed, and the price was extremely competitive compared to the other estimates we received. We could not beat saving so much money on the same brand of unit anyone else would install along with the same waranty. The gentlemen who worked on the installation were courteous and professional. The job was completed in the time frame as estimated and we have had no problems. John (whom I believe to be the owner) even stopped by during the installation to make sure everything was running smoothly. What stood out most to my husband and I is that even though I don't know a thing about HVAC, etc, John explained everything to me. What part was used for what, and so on. The other people I spoke with were either just representatives who couldn't answer my questions or dismissed my question as something I wouldn't quite understand. I really appreciate the work Coastal Aire did for us.

Technician was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Sean had all the tools, parts and knowledge to handle the job in good time. He kept me apprised along the way, showed me the parts he replaced and explained why before installing them. He displayed good and professional, expertise.
