Carson Valley Glass

We recently built a new house south of Carson City and used Carson Valley Glass for all our interior glass – both the materials and the installation. Our project included multiple bathroom mirrors (both rectangular and oval shapes), shower enclosures (frameless glass in both ½ inch and 3/8 inch thickness), and glass fronted kitchen cabinets. We’ve also used Carson Valley Glass for small projects – last year we broke one window at a small cottage. Carson Valley Glass supplied us with glass in exactly the right size to repair the window ourselves – and for a much better price than others quoted. We highly recommend Carson Valley Glass for projects both large and small.

Had Carson Valley Glass cut a replacement window. Did a great job.

I called for a bid and they came out within a few days and measured.  We discussed what I wanted and they were prompt
with getting back to me with a price and explained the procedure they would go through - making a pattern for the glass
as it is high above my regular window.  We agreed on a week that would work for both of us for the installation and I
paid 1/2 up front.  They installed the window a couple of weeks later as I was away on vacation.  They took special care
with the installation with two men doing the job.  They cleaned up with not trace that they were there except for my new
awesome window glass.  They also came back to check on the installation to make sure the outer trim stayed tucked into
its seam.

These guys are awesome. They do such great work. They are fast and friendly. They pay close attention to detail. There prices are the lowest we found in the Carson City/Dayton area. They even hauled our old windows away for us. They are very clean and when they leave you will not even know they were even there. Thank you Dave Melzer with Carson Valley Glass. They are really good.  I am very pleased with the shower glass they installed.  Their price was very reasonable because there were other bids that I had received.  I have an open order with them right now, for another shower glass.  I am planning to do our bathroom mirrors through them.  They have been really good and very patient.  I ordered the third shower glass and I haven’t had them back to install it yet because I am waiting for the backsplashes to be finished so they could measure everything in terms of the mirrors.  It is kind of a trek up to where I live.  So I don’t want them to come up and then come back for measuring again when the backsplashes are ready.  They have been very patient because they went ahead and ordered that third glass and it has been several months now.  Every once in a while I get a call and I tell them that I am not ready just yet.  They have been very good.  I am very pleased to deal with them. Also, I got the desired thickness of the shower glass from them that I had been shopping around for, so I am very pleased.

There team of installers were fast and efficient. They did such a great job I could not tell the difference. I came home on the day of service, The day had slipped my mind that they were coming over. I was washing my hands at the Kitchen sink when I was gazing out the window. Then it dawned on me that the window looked different. Then I stepped back and looked, and sure enough they were already installed and cleaned. They left no sign of them being there. They got there, did the work, and got out. They did a fantastic job. And there attention to detail is awesome. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. We are so pleased with there work, that we are going to have more windows replaced in our home. Thank you Dave.
