+ -1 moreThe initial contact was quick and productive gave a quote fast. Relatively cheaper then others. I scheduled a time for Ron’s crew to come out and performed the work. The day they where supposed to show I called Ron in the morning to make sure they where still coming and he told the crew would be a my residence between 1 & 2:30. The crew was a no show. I also never got a response from Ron as to why. Completely unprofessional. I contracted another company.
Description of Work: I needed a mesquite tree and two palms trimmed.

+ -1 moreTwo Spanish-speaking workers showed up on time, scaled the 20’ palm using spiked shoes, rather than a cherry-picker basket. Palm fronds were trimmed closer to the trunk than I asked, but the price was OK and the crew cleaned up all frond debris. I may use them again.

+ -1 moreThey gave us an estimate the same day and came out next day to do the job. Our yard looks so nice after they trimmed 2 trees and trimmed some of our bushes. Our neighbor was impressed and hired them to trim his tree. The yard was left very clean after they picked up the trimmings, blew away the entire yard and left. The price was exactly what they quoted. We intend to hire them again.

+ 0 moreIn 4 hours two guys got the tops off and a few feet of the trees cut off, I wanted the trees cut down to about 10 feet each so I need to hire someone to come back and do that. The workers were an hour early and we were still sleeping so that was a bit unexpected and the deal I bought said I could have them stay extra time for $65 an hour, they told me $85 an hour but they couldn't stay because they had another job to get to. They did good cleanup.

+ -1 more.They were fine. I had an experience with another special. The guy called me he told me that you guys accidentally listed the special, but the special was no longer available but he did honor it, which was cool. They did some work and did a fantastic job. They just forgot a tree, they were suppose to trim. Eventually the came back out, I told them no hurry, but next time they were in the neighborhood to just stop by and fix it and they did. I think it was just a mixed communication between the office and the workers in the field, but they took care of it. I did pay more because I had more trees to do. I would use them again only if I got the special again, I wouldn't pay full price.

+ -1 moreCommunication to get the initial service was difficult. Had to call and email several times. On the day of service they missed the window of time given. I had to call a few times and was told that the other jobs had them running late. Showed up later in the evening and when they arrived all went smooth. They cut the tree down and cleaned up. The workers were pleasant and apologized for the delay. I would use the service again despite the lack of communication.

+ -1 moreRon was great on the phone. I sent him some pictures and moments later, I had a quote! His quote was reasonable and better than the other people I had contacted. I thought maybe when they get to my house they will charge me more, but no, it was the quoted price! The workers were quick, and cleaned up any mess! Ron originally said the work would be done Monday or Tuesday. I was surpised when they came to do the work one day later (thursday), instead of the following week.
Description of Work: I needed 3 trims trimmed for the home inspection of my house. The home inspector wanted the tree limbs removed from hanging over the roof. I called Ron at the end of his business day on Wednesday August 16, but he was in no rush to get off the phone with me.

Crew was very nice and explained beforehand what they would do. I would use TreePro again and recommend them to anyone in the Vegas area.

Description of Work: TRIMMING OF MY 3 PALM TREES IN MY FRONT YARD. On April 18, 2017, I purchased a "deal" from Angie's List (of which I'm a paid member) to trim 3 palm trees in the front yard of my house, which was to be done by TREE PRO, in the amount of $105. A day or so later, Ronnie, the Tree Pro owner, called up to set up a schedule to do the trimming. I told him that I want JULY 6 and we both agreed on the date. During that conversation, there was no mention of anything else, we just talked about the date. On July 5, I called Tree Pro. I talked to Ronnie & asked him what time they will be coming to the house on JULY 6, the scheduled date of the trimming. He said he'll call me back. When we finally talked again that same morning, he told me that I have to pay additional $20. This caught me by an unpleasant surprise. The Angie's List "deal" was $105 for 3 Palm Trees & now, almost at the last minute, this Tree Pro owner was asking me to pay more? He claimed that after I talked to him that (July 5th) morning, he decided to check my 3 Palm Trees & found out that I have one fat & 2 tall palm trees (which he termed as Mexican and California & I, myself, don't know which one is which). He expected me to know the name of these trees when I'm not in a landscape business? He has been in this business for years, why didn't he verify all of this in our first conversation over 2 months ago? He had a lot of time to check my palm trees and asked for more money then, but NO he just decided to check my Palm Trees on July 5, a day before the scheduled trimming & decided to tell me that day to ask for more money. Isn't that rude? He is in this tree business for years and should know that it should be his responsibility to verify from his customers during the initial conversation about the type of tree/trees customers have to avoid any disagreement in the end, just like he did to me. Even better he should physically check the trees on the property.

+ -1 moreI contacted Ron Goodwin Saturday morning, and he agreed to stop by later that day to give me an estimate. He said the work could be done the following Monday. His crew did a great job, especially with a massive California palm, which Ron explained had not been trimmed properly in years. His crew cleaned it up nicely. That required an extra fee, which I was glad to pay. I will use this company again next year.
Description of Work: I have 7 palm trees that were not trimmed last year, so it was important to get them trimmed before the seeds drop again this year. I usually get this done early in July before the seeds become a problem, but the company I had originally contacted never got back to me. So I looked on Angie's List and came across TreePro.
