When another water heater company here in Las Vegas (Water Heart Pros) couldn't figure out why my 4-year-old, always perfectly functioning water heater no longer would ignite after they had performed a tank flush and anode rod replacement on 08/26/2024, it was THE WATER HEATER MAN and specifically Technician Jordan Haynes who knew exactly what to do. My model of A. O. Smith gas water heater has an actuator, linkage and damper door system which the technician at Water Heater Pros supposedly had never once encountered in 30 years of installing/servicing water heaters. Such technology is apparently more common in California. Nevertheless, this was a bit surprising, considering the company's name, its implied professionalism and high customer satisfaction ratings here on Yelp. In any case, Jordan Haynes knew immediately what to do to make my pilot light and burner function smoothly once again on 08/29/2024. The linkage which had apparently become disconnected from the damper door beneath the water heater while removing the old anode (vigorous movement of the water heater) simply had to be reconnected to the damper door so it could be opened to get things burning nicely once again. Meeting Jordan Haynes has been one of my best service experiences overall, irrespective of industry: a friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable person. With an army of technicians like Jordan Haynes you can conquer the water heater world. Highly recommended! When it comes time to replace my current water heater in 4 or more years, The WATER HEATER MAN will definitely be getting my business.

Horrible! The Water Heater Man left my water heater in a state of disrepair after hiring them for a cleaning. Then they demanded more money for an additional service call to fix it. I own a Noritz Tankless Water Heater. They spent no more than 30 minutes performing a cleaning in which they charged me $225. They were unable to complete their work but assured me that my hot water heater would indeed be in working order. Unfortunately, it was not. I phoned them immediately to let them know. There was no hot water flowing out of the pipe when I turned on the hot water faucets in my house. My unit is 2 years old and within the warranty. Water was flowing prior to their service. Instead of admitting their mistake, the lady who answers their calls was combative and claimed that they did not have to shut the water off to do the service they did. It was working before and nothing transpired on my end. This was a two year old unit, still under warranty. I simply hired this company to do a maintenance cleaning and now nothing worked properly. I phoned my water heater manufacturer and was told what they lady claimed about the water not needing to be turned off to do the cleaning was indeed false. I gave this company many chances to do right by me but in the end, The Water Heater Company refused to help me get my water flowing out of my pipes again. I had to contact the water heater manufacturer and beg them to walk me through the process. I am a woman with health issues and I had to adjust the levers under the unit myself, which was not easy. After the help from the manufacturer, at least my hot water turns on however, the temperature of the water is unsuitable for bathing because it is scalding hot. The Water Heater Man asked for another service call fee to complete their maintenance cleaning package. I will now have to go to the expense of hiring someone else to fix this state of disarray they left me in. Not to mention I am still without hot water over two weeks later. My experience with them was extremely maddening. The owner claims to care about customer service however, he is equally as argumentative as the other lady that answers the calls who literally argued with me as if I was responsible for the lack of water flow. Don't even bother with this company! They're one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with.

It went very well! The only glitch was the inspector wanted the gas hooked up but approved it anyway because he had good experience with Randy and his team!

The heater had never been flushed and was running extra hot. This provider was a factory authorized repair dealer. He had to run 2 bottles of descaler through the system. The first flush did not solve the problem. He checked with the manufacturer's tech dept several times to determine the problem. The 2nd 40 minute flush did the trick.
NOT every plumber knows how to service a tankless water heater, even though they say they can. This company knows what they are doing. I will definitely have them back next year to do the annual maintenance.

Called The Water Heater Man?s office to ask if they could replace a water heater at a rental property today.    The lady who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful.   She confirmed that they could come out today.   Randy (who may be the owner) was in touch with me throughout the day and was very flexible.   I asked if they could meet the tenant at 4:30, and they confirmed.   Overall it was a great experience.   Fantastic customer service and good value.   Really appreciate them being flexible and getting our tenants hot water today.
Initially called Sears.   Their initial price was about the same as what we paid with TWHM.   However when the Sear?s contractor (third party) showed up he wanted to charge an extra $450 for various things that were ?needed? or ?highly recommended?.   After checking this contractors reviews found out they are notorious for up charging.  We promptly called Sears and cancelled the order.    I then checked Angie?s list (should have done this to begin with) and found a couple of service providers with great reviews.   The first one I called could not get out there until next week, so then called The Water Heater Man.   Highly recommend TWHM and would definitely use again.

Randy is awesome.  Like others have said in reviews, the crew shows up and they know what to do.  I wish I could attach a picture of my beautiful new system.  Before: exploded old tank on a rotten stand taking up the whole corner of my garage.  And an old leaking salt system.

After, Wall mounted hot water system, completely open floor, wall mounted filter.  Big new easy to work shut off valve.  One switch, and the system is OFF, very easy.

What I want to stress, when I asked for a good system, I got it.  Randy got the permits, got the inspector out, got the gas company out, and made sure it all worked.  Like other reviewers stated, there is always some last drip leak...and Junior didn't leave until it was perfectly fixed.  Again, a bad pipe.

But they went through the whole house, and really FIXED my plumbing.  New main shut off valve, new pressure regulator (installed wrong from the builder!)  New shower valves, and I have a sink in my garage now.  Finally, we can take strong showers, and use the dishwasher at the same time.

I know 8000 is a lot for a hot water heater, but they fixed everything!

The Water Heater Man
Agreed by phone to take either a credit card or personal check to pay for services
I offered to have credit card authorized over the phone, But contractor said this would be handled
by Technician.    I also asked how over the phone they knew the system would replaced and not
repaired.  I also asked what date the service warranty on the last installed unit had expired
Water Heater  Was installed and technician claimed my credit card was no good, and that he could not
take a check - Cash Only ...   Later that day I called my credit card company and found the card was good, and no charges
had been submitted that day by anyone.

Five days later the owner of the Water Heater Man called apologizing that he had not renewed his contract with
the credit card processing company, and did not know why his technician had not accepted a personal check
drawn on a local las vegas bank
It is my belief that this contractor did not want his fees discounted by a credit card company, and hires independent
technicians who prefer cash.   I also am concerned that the water heater which is not covered by my insurance keeps
running into problems every few years.    Are these units new or are they factory refurbished.
Also if a unit is running out of service warranty days, why doesnt the company that installs the unit inform you to have
a service call or offer an extended warranty.
Water Heaters are not covered by most homeowner policies just the damage they cause.

It went very well. They handled themselves while doing the job beautifully. There were 2 guys and they both knew what they had to do and they did separate jobs and they put everything together at the end and they cleaned up. You would never know they were there and they hauled the heater away. They setup the inspection for me. All I had to do is call and schedule it and they came out and everything was fine. They were the cheapest. They are all over the city. We live in a senior community in Nevada and I see them a lot around here so I think just from seeing them, that’s what brought them to my attention and when I checked on Angie’s List, they had a pretty good rating so I called them.

Great!  Everything was done superbly.   Final cost was even below the original quote... and they tacked on the Angies List discount.  It was a thorough job---as we were finalizing the sale, he noticed an odd, little drip.  Instead of just moving on to his next job, he took the time to make sure it was fixed.  Turns out it was a faulty manufactured pipe (not his fault).  Within seconds, they fixed it up.  I was very happy with service.  No Worries!
