Great Job, and they were done when he initially stated. I would highly recommend this company if you need solar screens installed or repaired i your home.

If I could give negative stars for this customer service, I would. The initial installation of the screens, many years ago, went very well. They came out, measured, and installed the screens in a timely manner. Then, a few years later, a couple of the screens came loose and fell down from my second story windows. No problem, stuff happens over time. I called Jim and asked if he could come out and put them back up. I got "I'll stop by when I'm in the area", then 2 weeks of nothing. Several calls and weeks later, he finally came by and spent the better part of an hour berating me that the screens should never be removed. More that a dozen times, I had to tell him "WE NEVER REMOVED THE SCREENS", yet he still kept on, not believing me. His attitude was atrocious, even when I overpaid him to replace the screens. Last month, a screen fell down again and I called Jim. I got the "I'll stop by when I'm in the area" line again. 2 weeks later, nothing and I called again and left a message, no response. I ended up getting another firm to put the screen back up. If you expect this business to respond to any service requests, forget it. I wasn't asking them to come out for free, but they still could not be bothered.

I was recommended Southwest solar screens but I am a skeptical person. But this time Jim made me a believer after he backup his words with his actions. Jim was a straight forward person which I like and he gave me a great discount. As they say be careful with a really good price, it might be a scam. This time it wasn't. I am really satisfied with the excellent work and flexibility from Jim. Jim said it would take two weeks to make. That was not the case he was ready to install 8 days after. They came over and installed the screens in 4 hrs, two story house. Excellent job! I would hire them again. Thank you, Jim.

Excellent work at a fair price..

Went very well. The screens were installed just a few days ago but appear to be very good quality. The installers were professional and polite. They determined that one of the screens was not exactly correct, so they returned it to the shop, corrected it and were back installing it within a few hours.

Even though they came out immediately to show me their product and equally as efficient to measure the next day--after installation I noticed that the screens did not come together on most of the screens at the corners and there were scraps and marks on the frames. I was told oh that happened on the truck. I called them and they came out within the week and repaired the work that the installers should have down as far as connecting the corners of the frames. Its now been since 5/2/17 and they still have not returned to paint the scraps of the frames. I even questioned whether these were used frames. I have called them a few times and they continue to tell me they will be out in a few weeks. I told them that was unacceptable and they still have not been here and its now 7/10/17. The scraps may be minor to them but after paying them $764 for 9 solar screens I think I should have received top quality.

After my call, David came out and gave an estimate, and after accepting the quote, Jim came to the house to get exact measurements the next day. I was given a window of seven to 10 days for completion and the solar screens were installed well within that time frame. During the installation, Jim and his assistant took extra precaution when installing the screens over my aluminum patio cover and even washed a couple of windows I could not get to before installing the screens. Everyone was friendly and professional. The solar screens work very well--it is much cooler in an upstairs west facing room that use to be almost unusable during the summer before the screens. Southwest Solar Screens did excellently work.

This went very well. They were timely and showed up when expected. The rates were very reasonable and the product quality was top notch. He even explained that having a raised screen would help prevent any conduction heat. I did not know that, but it made sense. They explained that it takes about 7 days to fabricate screens for installation. When they installed the screens, they explained that they had made a calculation error and missed 2 windows. But they promised to fix them at a later date. I'm always a bit wary of promises to come back and fix things. So I waited about 7 days and did not hear back. When I asked my husband if he had heard from them, and he hadn't, we started talking about those windows and then noticed that they were covered. Apparently, they had already come and fixed their error in 4 days while my husband and I were at work. So not only did they correct their mistake and fulfill their promise, they did it without inconveniencing me to take any time off work. Love them. And so does my electric bill. It went down by 15% or so.

Jim and Dave were AWESOME! They came out for a estimate right away and within 5 days of that estimate, they had the entire job completed. They were early for both appointments. I am an avid angie's lister and when I read the reviews for Southwest Solar Screens it was easy to chose them. I did read some negative reviews from people who did not even purchase anything. my advice would be to ignore those reviews and read the B & C reviews they will provide you better incite. This company does great work!

I called Southwest last week and had an appointment the next day with David to look at my needs. He was great and I really had no idea the cost. He measured and gave me a quote which I felt was quite reasonable! The following day, Jim stopped over to measure the windows for the screens. The screens were installed today and the time from my initial call to screen installation was 7 days. Fantastic service. I have some older screens on a few other windows, but since this is my first summer in my home, I'll need to assess if I need to upgrade those. If I do, I will - for sure - call Southwest Solar Screens again. It was a great experience and they were a pleasure to work with! Nice work!

Completed request for estimate online and within a day received a call to schedule an appointment.  In two days they arrived, measured and returned the following week to do the install of the five windows covers.  They always called before coming out and were always punctual. One window was measured slightly wrong but installer was back in less than two hours with a replacement.  My husband said he could already feel a difference in the room temperatures inside - I am glad we made the purchase.  Our neighbor used these same folks and had a very positive experience and that was why I went with them as well.  For the quality of customer service, product and pricing I highly recommend these folks!
