carpet cleaners
 + -1 moreAfter reading the reviews on Angie's List, I went with another vendor.
Description of Work: I called to arrange carpet cleaning for a move- out on a Saturday. The person answering the phone reassured me that it was absolutely no problem and took down all of the information. I called a couple of days later to confirm and was told there was nothing on the books for me. So I said that I wanted to cancel. I arranged carpet cleaning through a different provider. I called yet again to confirm that I was canceling and they seemed to understand. No one showed up on the Saturday so I thought all was well. Later got call to find out how I would be paying for the service I did not get. Then got a call to confirm the date when I wanted to reschedule!

 + -1 moreterrible the worst company i ever used. i already told most of the story on the services done. 1. late 2 did not intend to complete work on day promised 3 truck broke down and cause damage to my driveway 4 demanded money up front 5 ruin floors 6 left cloudy spots and dirty grout 7 kept my deposit which was a lot more then the work done even if it would of been done it right. 8 i moved the bed in the bedroom they told me they cleaned and the room was never done.
Description of Work: they were supposed to clean all the floors in the home, plus plus power wash the garage and driveway. and a small carpet. the company ruined our floors, were very late. their machine on the truck ran out of gas so they had to go get more gas to finish the job, but when they returned the machine would not start. a lot of time passed before another truck could come. they left my drive way full of fluids that came of out the cleaning machine plus tire marks . the power wash was never brought to the job. they said they would do that part of the job tomorrow. the floors on the steps and hallway were dark wood floors that were less then three months old. the bedrooms were a lighter wood. it was a complete nightmare. two bathrooms were not done at all because they thought they were marble which they were not. and the two other bedrooms were not done because they ran out of time. the cleaner on the wood floor left a cloudy film with all marks all over them, horrible. they did the tiles on the bottom floor without dusting or cleaning the dirt off. areas were not cleaned at all because they would not move the TV area and small tables. the two men that came were very unprofessional. they said the f word and demanded money up front to finish the job. after the mess they made i asked if i could at least have the power wash that they never did and also made a mess out of my driveway. the townhouse has rules you can not have grease and stains on the property. the company would not correct any of the damage they made unless we paid up front before the job was complete. i told them i would pay after the work was done. they told me no and left me with dirty floors that were never done. plus the floors they did do were ruin by them putting to much polish on them. please never use this company. i sent them phone photos right after they left. i have the photo for anyone to see for themselves. this company is lower then f . the company tells you they will do this and that and then show up with no equipment to do the job. i am taking a plane tomorrow and have no time for them to do the job they promised to do on another day. if anyone come's from carpet cleaning service at 702 583 6711 that is the name and number for siver state. i paid half for the down payment which was $360.00. i was not going to paid another 360 dollars to them before the job was fix and complete.

 + -1 moret was barelyI had the same issues as the other report. My carpets were installed last December, and the house has been vacant for the last 4 months. So it just needed a general cleaning. The person came in to the living room and started by telling me about "all the spots that need pre treating". Then he wrote up an estimate of the costs to do the job, saying that he was 'only going to charge for 100 ft' rather than the 'entire' size of the house to save me money. His estimate came to $159 and change. whixh is $110.00 more than the copupon offer. I reiterated that I only needed the general cleaning that was offered when I spoke with the lady who made the appointment. He became very pushy and explained the NEED to pre-treat. He also told me that the carpet was NOT new. I told him I was there when it was installed and that perhaps he shouldn't try so hard to "UPSELL" his customers. Since I needed to get it done that day because my furniture was arriving the next day, I told him I only had $100,00 and he agreed to do the pre-treat only on the 'heavy traffic pattern for that amount. He was finished in less than an hour, and 2 days later it looks worse than it did before. I will never use this company again, and would recommend Angie to remove it from her site.....
Description of Work: It was supposed to be a simple, general carpet cleaning as the carpet in only 6 months old, and the house has been vacant for 3 of those months. It was barely walked on.

 + -1 moreI called Silver State based on a coupon I had. I was told it would cost an estimate of $ 110 over the phone. The person came in on time. He was there 2 hours. The first hour was spent trying to hustle as much money out of me as possible. I agreed to no more than $ 300. Only the stairs were clean. He cleaned my carpet faster than I ever vacuumed it. There were several pet urine stains I saw days later. A waste of money. Would never use them again.
Description of Work: They cleaned 5 bedrooms and 20 stairs. Based on the price, they only chemical cleaned the stairs, steam the rest which did not clean well at all.
