SILVER STATE CARPET CLEANING

After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I went with another vendor.

terrible the worst company i ever used.   i already told most of the story on the services done.
1. late
2 did not intend to complete work on day promised
3 truck broke down and cause damage to my driveway    
4 demanded money up front    
5 ruin floors
6 left cloudy spots and dirty grout
7 kept my deposit which was a lot more then the work done even if it would of been done it right.
8 i moved the bed in the bedroom they told me they cleaned and the room was never done.

t was barelyI had the same issues as the other report. My carpets were installed last December, and the house has been vacant for the last 4 months. So it just needed a general cleaning. The person came in to the living room and started by telling me about "all the spots that need pre treating". Then he wrote up an estimate of the costs to do the job, saying that he was 'only going to charge for 100 ft' rather than the 'entire' size of the house to save me money.  His estimate came to $159 and change. whixh is $110.00 more than the copupon offer. I reiterated that I only needed the general cleaning that was offered when I spoke with the lady who made the appointment. He became very pushy and explained the NEED to pre-treat. He also told me that the carpet was NOT new. I told him I was there when it was installed and that perhaps he shouldn't try so hard to "UPSELL" his customers. Since I needed to get it done that day because my furniture was arriving the next day, I told him I only had $100,00 and he agreed to do the pre-treat only on the 'heavy traffic pattern for that amount. He was finished in less than an hour, and 2 days later it looks worse than it did before. I will never use this company again, and would recommend Angie to remove it from her site.....

I called Silver State based on a coupon I had.  I was told it would cost an estimate of $ 110 over the phone.  The person came in on time.  He was there 2 hours. The first hour was spent trying to hustle as much money out of me as possible.  I agreed to no more than $ 300.  Only the stairs were clean.  He cleaned my carpet faster than I ever vacuumed it.  There were several pet urine stains I saw days later.  A waste of money.  Would never use them again.
