Sierra Masonry

Job went quickly. First they drilled and installed rebar to connect the new blocks to the wall. Then they installed the two runs of blocks and stuccoed the new blocks. They did a fair job of matching the stucco swirls between the new and old stucco, not exact but close. Still, they were the only masonry company will to try. The end result is very acceptable.

It's just the speed of getting it done. It was very professionally done.

Sealed everything on the wall, both inside and out. Very good job and very satisfied with their work. I was expecting to pay more, they are very affordable for me.

Excellent.  Javier was on time for the estimate appointment.  A couple of days later workers showed up to dig for footing.  Next day  poured the footing.  Came back five days later to build the block wall.  Color of block and mortar matched existing wall.

Sierra did a quality job at a reasonable, originally agreed upon price.  Sierra's staff was professional, courteous, returned calls in a timely manner, was always timely getting to the jobsite, did the job within the agreed upon time period and also did a nice job cleaning up after themselves.  I highly recommend Sierra as a quality provider of concrete and masonry services.

They started when they said they would, finished on time. They did Everything they said they would plus more, NO add on charges for changes that made the whole job come out better as the work was going on. Job site was cleaned up at the end of everyday, the guys on the job were all hard working, did great work, totally knew what they were doing and what they were there for, no wasting time. It was the best construction experience I have ever had!

Javier is extremely knowledgeable, he's the only person that immediately was able to figure out the problem and provide me with a solution (had multiple other contractors out). The work his team does is very thorough and he makes sure you're completely satisfied with the job before you pay. There were no shortcuts taken. Would highly recommend this company.

Javier and his crew were excellent. The work that they did was top notch. The entire crew and his office staff were amazing. He started and finished the work at the time and cost we agreed to.
When he came to give us his estimate he told us if we were not satisfied with the quality of his work we did not have to pay. As a matter of fact he finished up the last of the work this past Friday and as of yet he hasn't been here to collect! Although I'm sure he will be and we will gladly pay him for a job well done.
The crew takes great pride in their work and will take care of any issues that may come up, he even negotiated a reduced price on the drop in grill!

Everything went like clock work.  Pricing was best compared to other quotes.  Crews were here everyday and cleaned up after themselves.  Went as far as laying down plastic on paved paths so not to get mud/stucco on established ground and pressured washed the work area on the street on their last day.  All work was performed by a very professional crew that mastered their art.  All and all an outstanding job and would not hesitate to recommend for any job, big or small.

I got three quotes for the work and Sierra Masonry was the least expensive. The did exactly what they said they were going to do and followed my instructions. There was a miscommunication in the middle where I wanted something changed and Javier didn't blink an eye. He just said ok and changed it for me. He made it clear multiple times that he wanted me to be happy and he made sure at each step that everything was the way I wanted it. I thought they did a great job and I'd recommend them to friends and family.

Javier of Sierra Masonry took care of getting the permits and specs from the engineers. Engineer determined that only part of the wall needed to be replaced, not the whole thing. 
Once date was set for work, the crew was there on time. They worked with speed and efficiency. At the end of each day, the work site was left orderly. All the debris and all the bricks had to be transported by wheelbarrow from the street to the wall, across the xeriscape gravel and around AC unit and bushes. No damage along the way, barely a track in the gravel. All debris was neatly stacked into a dumpster. 
The job took four and a half days to complete. When the job was finished, the only evidence of the work was a straight-standing wall.
The wall had been put up 20 years ago. Luckily, Javier was able to find bricks that closely matched the original bricks.
This was certainly a "minimally invasive" procedure. 
Prior to work starting, had several meetings with Javier at the site. He was always punctual and professional. Contacts with his office, usually by email, were efficiently and quickly handled.

This company did a first class job in a very short time!  We had a 95? block wall installed between two properties. The owner came out himself and gave me the estimate. Their price was very competitive and  we decided on them.  Day 1 ? They removed the old, wooden fence, dug the footer, and placed the rebar in the footer.  Day 2 ? After the building inspector approved the work, they poured the footer and set the first row of blocks. Day 3 ? Their crew arrived at 7:00 am, completed the wall, and cleaned up ALL of the debris, by 3:30 pm. They were both professional and courteous!  We were so pleased with their work that two days later, we had them pour a 10X16 concrete pad for us. We would definitely use them again!

The whole experience was great and we love our new patio area! 
If we  had known how easy Javier and Sierra Masonry were to work with, and how reasonable the price, we would've had this unfinished dirt patch in our otherwise beautiful back yard completed years ago.
Javier was responsive, very knowledgeable and  competent.  He saved me from my self-created doubt and helped me select the perfect paver color, pulling colors from the stucco paint,  the concrete roofing tiles and Windsor block walls of nearby gardens.
Although a relatively small area, it required  forethought from the crew to have it slope just enough from the foundation to the curves of the sidewalk without leaving any exposed edges (we like to call them "trippers"!). 
Speaking of Sierra Masonry's crew, they were punctual, polite and friendly and made us feel our job was as important to them as it was us. Collateral damage to an irrigation tube which ran a short span under the new patio was corrected without a problem and with a smile. They were prepared, worked as a team, made sure we were happy with all aspects of our new patio and left no sign of debris when they left.
This experience, and, resulting beautiful patio which adds such functionality and finish to our side yard,made us decide (almost before they left), to hire Sierra Masonry to tear out our old sand stone front steps and build new steps using the same pavers at the front entrance of our home.
What a great company to work with.

You don't have to look any further. Sierra Masonry is a very professional company. I called several masonry companies and some off them does not even have somebody answering the phones. At Sierra Masonry you will get somebody on the phone. I spoke to a nice young lady who scheduled an appointment for a quote. Javier showed up on time, took a look and gave us a quote on the spot. Some of the other companies took several days to get back to us and some of the quotes were just ridiculous. 
We went with Sierra Masonry and they did the job a week later. We were very happy with the job. They did a great job! And everybody was very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Here immediately after called to give us an estimate. Took care of HOA with plans. Started job in a timely manner. We had used Sierra at another home and were glad to call them again. They do quality work. Experienced workers who know their craft. Would recommend to anyone!

I cannot say enough positive things about this company.  The owner came out himself, gave me the estimate, and once I had acquired another couple of bids, I decided on them.  They told me when they would be there, and they arrived on time with a crew of people.  They had the entire block wall taken down and put back up in one (very long) day.  Because I was going out of town, we had to postpone the painting but once I called and told them I was back, they were there the next day.  They were professional, courteous and they cleaned up ALL their mess.  I would definitely call them again.
