They did a 5 star job. They did help me adjust my electric bill by replacing HVAC system. They got the job done in just one day.

They were wonderful, they answered phone immediately well staffed, they also line up their person for emergency calls, they stayed on the phone with me to keep me updated, they were very good, and they even put shoe covers so my carpet don't get dirty. They were very professional.

The installation of the hot water heater went really well. I've been a customer for Sierra Air for a few years now. Their technicians are always friendly, professional and happy to answer any questions. They arrive on time and do their best to make sure you are satisfied with the work done. In the past they replaced my air conditioner and have come out for any necessary maintenance. It's always been a pleasant experience starting with the call to their office. They are an easy company to work with. If you are in the process of getting estimates you should add them to your list.

OK except for replacing a capacitor on the three-year-old AC unit. Should a capacitor cost $235 to install as part of scheduled maintenance? We pay $16 a month toward each six-month maintenance. They also scuffed the stucco on the wall above the AC unit.

Quick responses. Capable, professional, friendly advisers and technicians. Competitive prices. During a routine fall service visit in October, the company we had a service contract with recommended that we replace both downstairs and upstairs units because they were failing. Their estimate was more than $25,000, so I advised that I needed to check with other companies to get other estimates. I also sent their findings to my dad, who had installed and maintained residential and commercial HVAC units for years. He agreed that the downstairs unit needed to be replaced but didn't think we had to replace the upstairs unit just yet--unless we just wanted to. I kept his expert opinion to myself as a guide in selecting who would install the system. Sierra sent Shawn to evaluate our systems and offer recommendations. His recommendations matched my dad's, and the estimate for one new unit plus repairs to the second existing unit totaled less than half of the first estimate we received. Plus, he alerted us to a rebate available from our local energy company. Because we contacted them through one of those large consumer warehouses, we also qualified for a rebate through them, which decreased the total cost even more. On the day of installation, Shawn arrived with the installation crew, introduced me to them, and explained what they would do and how long it would take. The crew members worked tirelessly all day to remove the old system and install the new one. When they were done, they showed us the work and taught us how to use the thermostat (which is about the size of an iPad mini). UPDATE: In July, our upstairs unit stopped working in the middle of the night. I contacted Sierra the next morning, and they sent a technician to evaluate the unit. We wound up having to replace it. The experience replacing the second unit was as good as the first. The total cost for replacing both units was still well under the first estimate.

The installations went well. Two visits were required as one unit was on back order. The main installations (2) were done in under 10 hours. Great care was taken to protect my property and keep things clean. This was a very expensive operation but I was given full information as to my options and available rebates. The old systems were over 13 years old and in the Las Vegas area got a lot of use.

I bought my new air conditioning through Costco. They were working with Costco and they installed it. I have two units, an upstairs and a downstairs unit that they installed. It was the ac and the furnaces. At the time of the installation and working with the people I'd say "A". My one disappointment i've had since is that I think its what they call the big air tank that they have on them. When they expand I get a big noise. I get a boom. But that's probably my fault. I didn't address it right away and only became concerned about it a couple of years into the contract. But i never said anything to them. The people were really good. They know what they're doing. They come in, they get it done. I would definitely use them again. I would just be more a little bit aggressive on my end about certain things.

We have a service contract with them. We actually have 2 complete systems. It has its own stand alone system in addition to the main house. So they do the whole 9 yards. We have a comprehensive service contract with them so it covers all labor and parts and that good stuff. It is $300 a year for both systems. They are probably one of the more expensive but even so I would still give them an A. We have used them for 10 years now.

They're a little high on their price, but it was through a wholesale supplier so there were quite a bit of incentives.  There was a $2,000 rebate back on the 2 units and then there was also the 2% rebate back through my card.  I actually do use them on an on-going basis.  In fact, I have just taken out a service contract with them starting this year.  I would recommend that they definitely go through a wholesale supplier because they get a really good rebate program for it.  They are one of the vendors that pays to have a booth there at the wholesale supplier.  They also do about 70-80% of the residential HVAC installations here in the Las Vegas valley.  There were about 14 guys that came out to complete the installation.  They were outstanding.  They showed up at 7 o'clock in the morning.  They had 3 crews to do 3 specific jobs and then at noon they actually hired an independent crane company to come in and lift the units into place.  Everything was completely installed and operational by 6 o'clock that night.

My system was installed in May of 2014, both my new heating and air conditioning systems, so that service was included as part of that initial contract so there was no charge.  They're due to come out here probably within the next month to prepare for summer.
