Beautiful Job - Siena Cabinets, Inc! Finding Siena’s physical address was a little unsettling, as it is kind of a back alley, dingy little office with odd hours, so you need to set an appointment before you go. Their prices seemed fair and their reputation was good, so I gave it a try. Met Melissa, the office manager; then the fellow responsible for painting the cabinets came from the paintshop and we chatted a bit - had a good feeling about the place, so placed an order. The cabinets can take a month to prepare, so plan ahead for an installation. Nearly a month after ordering, the three man cabinet crew arrived with the cabinets. They took extra precautions to protect my house from construction debris and set up a quasi-workshop in the driveway. The cabinets are beautiful. The color is a perfect match to the designer's paint chip and the paint coverage is heavy, even, smooth as silk…better than most factory jobs. Excellent custom paint! I requested a bead board front and someone meticulously centered each bead board so each cabinet presents a nice symmetrical cabinet door. Very important to me. Excellent work! The cabinets themselves are very solid, well constructed, and fit the room better than I could have imagined. Excellent cabinets! Excellent design, craftsmanship and installation! I wanted a matching door constructed to hide the water heater and devised a way to make it work. The owner of Siena, Tom Scalise, came to the house and personally measured the space, showing true professionalism. He devised a way to make the water heater door match the other cabinets perfectly, while providing a small storage area for ironing boards, and storage for large flat things. It is so cool! Excellent thinking! The Formica countertop is perfect. I am a stickler for perfection and could not have done it better myself. Just beautiful! It took three guys, nearly a full day to install two walls of cabinets with crown molding. Intense, precise work to make every seam line up; every door swing freely and close smoothly. This crew was efficient, steady on the job, did meticulous work - and took care of my house. Overall rating for price, cabinets and crew - Excellent! Hope to hire them again. Highly recommend Siena Cabinets, Inc!

We got two names from Angies List and gave them both a call. Both were very responsive. They came to our house and within 1 week we received a quote from each of them. Siena's price was about $400 cheaper and we selected them.

They required 4-6 weeks to make and match our existing maple cabinets and delivered in that time frame. The installers were polite and professional. We are very happy with the outcome and with our experience with this small but very friendly and responsive company. One of our kitchen drawers was coming apart and they fixed it without charge.

I have no difficulty in recommending them to others and will certainly call them first if we need their services in the future.

The service was excellent.  They took some cabinetry that I already had and they created built-ins attached to perfectly match the handles.  They delivered as promised.  I recommended them to my brother.

I would not hesitate to recommend Siena Cabinets for any cabinetry needs. Tom and Melissa were an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We liked their work on our home so much that we plan to have them design and rebuild a bar that was recently damaged by a pipe burst. The pictures of the final product don't do the wall unit/built in justice. Everyone who walks into our home comments on how beautiful it is and asks for the name and contact information for the company who built it. My only regret is that I didn't call them to design our kitchen which was replaced around the same time. Siena's cabinetry work was reasonably priced and far superior to other similar products I've seen. One word of caution--I think Tom is extremely busy, so allow plenty of time. My only gripe is that we didn't have the built in installed at move in time because it took a while to make. But once we saw the final product we were so pleased we didn't care how long it took and we were grateful to Tom and Melissa for their time and dedication in making the unit perfect for us.
If you need cabinetry done in your home, I highly recommend Siena.

I will come back and edit and give final grades when the project is completed. but right now I absolutely LOVE Tom and his sister Melissa @ Siena Cabinets! What a wonderful team, a ton of knowledge, and a great sense of humor :)
I should also add that we are custom / spec home builders in Seattle and only use custom cabinets in our homes so we are picky!
More info to come soon.

Experience was great. I thought I wanted a cabinet built, but had second thoughts. We decided on corner shelves to give me the extra storage I wanted, as well as keeping the area more open. The shelves look great and they successfully matched the stain on our cabinets. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Siena cabinets to anyone looking for custom cabinets.

Tom is the most wonderful man to work with. We would use him again in a second!
We had a laundry room closet which had had doors and other parts ripped out by a previous occupant. Other prospective carpenters, who looked at the job prior to Tom, could not figure out any way to put the closet back together, since what was left was so badly damaged. Tom came in and looked it over, thinking out loud and energetically coming up with plans full of great ideas for how to make the space work. He won our confidence and we let him proceed as he thought best. He constructed oak doors to match the style of the existing ones amazingly. He added a new floor and a toe kick, while making additional changes that made the space look so great in a few hours that one could never tell how wrecked it had been before. It was an amazing transformation, and Tom was friendly and helpful the entire time.
Tom and his assistant also installed a crown moulding in a guest room, as well as a trim over the double sinks in one bathroom. Both jobs were done to perfection.
Tom also repaired a broken oak cabinet door in our garage. Again, his work was so perfect that one would never know there had even been any damage to the door.
Finally, I asked Tom to do a couple of things we hadn't talked about. I asked him to wall-mount a TV set, and then to saw and attach three trims to go over a large built-in desk, rip out the old trim that was over the same desk, and then attach the new trims. Without our asking, he finished off the trim on all sides with a beautiful mitered edge. The previous trim was simply sawed and pasted. Tom spared no efforts to make everything beautiful. His extra charge for the extra work was more than fair — it was generous. And it helped us tremendously, as the entire renovation of our house had taken a huge bite out of our wallets, and we were still able to afford Tom's magnificent work.
We are very grateful to Tom, and we will take every opportunity to recommend him enthusiastically to any people we know who need work done around their home.
Since this house was a severely damaged foreclosure, it required dozens of workmen of different kinds to repair the house. We had some good ones and some not-so-good ones. The best by FAR was Tom!

Tom Siena was very professional and created a sample drawing. Then he created a more formal drawing and we made some minor modifications. He knew exactly what we wanted so we had to make very few adjustments. The cabinet was made completely custom and turned out better than we could imagine - excellent workmanship and very professional installation. Everyone who has seen the cabinet is very impressed.

In our search to find a good cabinet installer/builder we had many no calls or people that would show up to measure and never supply a bid. Tom was very responsive and his work is nothing short of amazing. Tom and his guys even installed the bracket and the New TV which was an unexpected blessing. Matching custom cabinetry does take time and Tom is pretty busy, but in the end the price was more than fair and the results were excellent.
