I called the 800 number and they assign me the nearest Sears. The price was reasonable. They had to clean the chimney and stuff. They're reasonable.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed the wading machine problem right away. Fixed it — and the washer do if that I broke— PDQ. Very impressed!!! And he fixed the broken dryer door as well!

They were good. This was the first time they came out and did a repair for me. They fixed the problem. I had another appliance company come out a few times and they never fixed the problem and Sears came out here and they did.

The servicemen from Sears were very nice, very prompt, very courteous, and did their job. I'm dissapointed with the Sears Kenmore product.

I like that I can have a set time to have the inspections done. When I purchased my home 10 years ago, the builder gave me a $2,500 incentive on my appliances so I went to Sears. I upgraded the appliances from what they had for the builders. I haven't had any major problems with the appliances or the heating and air. I think that is due to the fact that I have the annual maintenance check. They have had to replace worn parts but it has saved me money. I would give their technicians positive feedback because they do follow up with a quality check to see how I enjoyed the service and to see if any problems were resolved.

We also got the maintenance agreement when we bought the refrigerator. It cost us $3000 and it's a French door refrigerator. We had an extremely nice older gentleman who was a sales person. He pretty much advised us. They sell every brand you can imagine. We did like the Kenmore brand, which is what we bought. It was not because it was a brand of Sears, but because we liked it and the price was better than some of the others along with the ice maker. I absolutely love it as well. They came out the very next day and delivered it. Then they took the old one and installed the new one. We haven't had any problems and hopefully we won't. I think their price was reasonable even though we didn't shop around. I really liked the salesman. He wasn't pushy at all and he showed us everything. He didn't steer us to the high priced one because we didn't buy the high priced one. We bought a nice one. They were very professional too.

The most atrocious service experience imaginable. I called SEARS for a service call , and was confirmed for Jan, 5/2010 between 1:00pm-5:00pm . The service man showed up at 9:00PM ! Charged me an exorbitant $310.78 for a small part. The ice maker again broke - same problem, same part apparently ... The part lasted a whole 6 1/2 months..2 weeks later than the pathetic warranty period. I phoned SEARS for an appointment on July 28,2010. I was given that date between 1:00-5:00PM..At 2:00pm I received a call from SEARS service advising that the tech guy would be at my home closer to 5:00pm..At 10 minutes to 5:00pm - I received a call advising me that the appointment was cancelled as the SEARS man was unable to make it !!! This after I rearranged my work schedule so as to be home for the appointment. This was the third time SEARS was either 5 hours late or cancelled their service appointment entirely at the end of the day. I have e-mailed SEARS in Chicago (home office) - I received an e-mail from SEARS saying "We are so sorry, etc." I am filing complaints with the Vegas and Chicago SEARS offices and I am writing the incompetent CEO - Most importantly, I want all the good members of Angie's List to know that SEARS products are junk and their service department is your worst nightmare..SEARS is a horrible company - Give your business to deserving retailers - not SEARS ,,,

They were over 4 hours late and I had to go to work that evening. So, I had to call my parents to stay in my apartment while they got my carpet cleaned. The carpet cleaning guy from Sears said that they overbook him on purpose to get more customers in one day. I think this is lousy customer service. I had to move out by the 1st of June, so I had no choice but to let them in . At first they refused to clean my carpet because they said my washing machine location on the outside deck was not going to work for them. When I insisted, they put a garden hose and let the water drip off the side of the apartment building or something like that. Also they told me that my hallway counts as an additional room and charged me an additional amount. So, the "special pricing" they gave was misleading.

My water filter was stuck in the bottom part of the refrigerator. I called Sears Home Improvement and they sent a repair guy to my place. They gave a 4-hour time window and he arrived after the 4 hours. So, then, he said that the filter was not stuck and he would have to charge me for the service call-- I showed him that the owner's manual for the refrigerator said to remove the filter a certain way---Then, he said that they put the same instructions for many types/models of refrigerators and that, yes, it was wrong---So, he would not charge me afterall---this was great 'cause he showed me what to do, so next time I can replace the filter myself.
