We hired Jimmy from Seamingly Straight for a project that involved Venetian Plaster and wallpaper hanging — and WOW, he delivered far beyond expectations. From start to finish, Jimmy was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful, guiding us through design decisions with expert advice and a calm, confident approach. His attention to detail is next-level. The Venetian Plaster looks like something out of a luxury design magazine — a true wall of art. And the wallpaper? Flawless. Not a seam in sight. He’s got serious skills and a real eye for design. Working with Jimmy at Seamingly Straight—from the first communication to the final install—was a pure joy. We had purchased a sizeable 3D mural online and crossed our fingers that it would turn out as well as we had imagined. It wasn’t cheap, and it was to be the focal point of our family room. After a disappointing experience with another wallpaper installer who completely botched the job, wasting $1800 on ruined wallpaper, we decided to give Seamingly Straight and Jimmy a try based on strong recommendations. We're so glad we did! Jimmy not only removed the previous installer’s work but also carefully re-primed and sanded the walls before expertly hanging the new wallpaper. It was no easy task, as the wallpaper was being installed on a vaulted wall — a challenge that the first contractor clearly didn’t have the experience to handle. Not only did Jimmy get the job done perfectly, but he also showed up on time, kept the work area tidy, and even won the hearts of our dogs. He was a pleasure to have around, sharing fascinating stories about his life along the way. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and wholeheartedly recommend his services!

This will be my review: After our contractors ruined our existing wall paper, they had Jimmy come from Seamingly Straight to redo our powder room. First and foremost, Jimmy was very responsive on schedule and always 20 minutes early. He was always there when he said he would be and always ready with the correct tools for his craft. His workmanship is incredible and his attention to detail something I have not seen as of recent. He takes great pride in the work he does and I was thoroughly impressed. The company name is not appropriate, Jimmy's work is not "seamingly straight" it is perfectly and most accurately straight. The work is impeccable and he should be used especially for high value homes with discerning owners. Beyond the professional and great standard of work, Jimmy is a very nice reliable and honest person. I really enjoyed hearing about his stories in Kenya and his love for travel and people. He was always deeply respectful of our space and time. It is rare I write reviews but the work deserves praise and credit. Looking forward to having Jimmy come back to do some wallpaper in other areas of our home.

Jimmy is honest, kind, compassionate, communicative, thorough and incredibly hardworking. He is a master of his craft, and I do not say that lightly. He applied plaster to my bathrooms and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome and the process was so enjoyable. It was great having Jimmy in our home, we feel like he is family. He is an artist and he really cares about the work he produces for you. In an industry filled with shoddy work and people trying to make a quick buck at any cost, Jimmy and his wife are a breath of fresh air. I will continue to work with them forever and ever.

I'm more than satisfied with Jimmy's skill and craftsmanship. I'd read such positive reviews that when I initially contacted him and he told me that he wouldn't be able to get to me for a few months, I told him I was willing to wait. And boy! was that a great decision. Jimmy loved my choice of wallpaper and as he put piece after piece up, we both enjoyed the spectacle. Jimmy's attention to detail, patience, and steadfast approach to his craft shows in the beautiful, magical result--my powder room sings with vibrant colors. Nothing distracts from his expert work--the "seams" were "straight" (and what a fun name he's given his business), and the walls look as if they were painted rather than covered in paper. You should definitely give Jimmy your business--he's "the best"!

I hired Jimmy based on his 5 Star reviews and now I get to add my own. We just moved into our new build home and purchased Gucci wallpaper for our powder room. Because it was so pricey I knew I needed the best to hang it, PLUS we had virtually no paper to waste. Jimmy was extremely responsive to text messages and while we had to wait a bit to get an installation day appointment due to his busy schedule it was worth the wait! Jimmy was on time and extremely neat. The wall came out beautiful and we plan on having him back to hang papers in other rooms.

Better than could ever have asked for!! Jimmie is an artist! He wallpapered one wall that I had ordered from another vendor of an aviation sectional map. No seems to be found anywhere!!

Mr James (Jimmy) Lembcke goes beyond Customer Service, Knowledge, and Professionalism. He has not only mastered his craft due to extensive years of experience, but the sincerity, compassion, and wisdom he displayed make him one of the best human beings I've ever met in my life. It was truly an honor to have met this gentleman. I understand why he's in high demand for his services and the many positive comments from previous clients. He completed my project on time with amazing results.

Jimmy is an absolute delight! He is by far the best wallpaper hanger I have ever seen...detailed, meticulous, incredibly talented...a true master craftsman. We had both a large wall mural and a detailed patterned wallpaper installed, and we are thrilled with the results. Perfection! You won't find anyone better. We had to wait more than six months to get on his schedule (likely due to a Covid backlog), and it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. I wouldn't even consider hiring anyone else to work in our home.

Jimmy (Seamingly Straight) did an excellent job of applying Venetian Plaster to my fireplace, better then I expected. Jimmy was very professional and arrived on time everyday. He took great care to protect the work site. I am very pleased with every aspect of the work Jimmy did for me. I highly recommend him.

My powder bathroom is located under a staircase so it has an angled wall and ceiling. I wanted the walls wallpapered. The wallpaper I chose has a 20.5 inch repeat pattern. Jimmy was amazing. Not only is the pattern matched perfectly, I cannot find a single seam without looking very closely. Even then, it is hard to find. Jimmy is very professional. He worked in a fairly small space and there was no mess. He meticulously cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend using him for all your wallpaper needs.

Jimmy was a delight to work with. He provided guidance before installing the wallpaper so that I knew exactly how much paper to buy and where to get quality material. He was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Always called, texted or emailed right away when I reached out to him. He was on time and very efficient, did not waste any time and the work was done to perfection. You have to look very hard to see the seams and he matched the design perfectly. Jimmy is a very pleasant person, also very respectful and funny. I recommend him highly and definitely would hire him again without hesitation.

Could not be any happier with our decision to trust Seamingly Straight to hang a wallpaper mural in our son's bedroom! From the start, Jimmy was very communicative and extremely personable. After asking lots of questions about our project, he then provided a very fair price to complete the work. We booked our time slot immediately! He showed up on the scheduled day, was on-time and strictly followed CDC COVID safety guidelines. He took some time to bring in his gear and get set-up before walking us through his process, and he continued to communicate his progress with us as he went along. A few hours later he called us up to see the finished work and WOW were were impressed! Mural was installed perfectly and seams were virtually invisible (even with our awful orange-peel textured walls). Jimmy is not only an amazing craftsman, he is a wonderful person as well. We can't wait to welcome him into our home again to bring our next wall to life!

I can't say enough great things about Jimmy & Seamingly Straight . I spent a lot of time & searched everywhere for the right person for my job and Jimmy was an artist & worth the wait. Every step of the process was handled extremely professionally , and Jimmy listened to every idea I was throwing at him. I started with wanting my back wall a Chocolate Raspberry. I find that I just cannot say enough about Seamlessly Straight and Jimmy Lembke. We asked him to come and paper a guest bathroom and he turned it into a highlight of the house! I wish I had more for him to do! He is punctual to a fault, arriving 15 minutes before the appointed time each time. He is professional. This guy knows his business. Not only is he a perfectionist about his craft, but his knowledge of his field is exceptional. He is painstaking. No detail is overlooked or â papered overâ He is personable.
