ROBERT BISHOP PAINTING

George came by the house on the 19th of March, and original spoke with my wife.  After we discussed his proposal and I research his company and others on Angie's List, we decided to go with Robert Bishop Painting.  I called George on the 21st, and he and his crew came over that afternoon, after finishing up on another job, and George again walked the perimeter of our home noting what he and his crew would be doing.  The next morning they arrived, on time, and set about finishing the prep work. Once the paint arrived, they were a bit late with that, the men started painting.  The whole job took less than 7 hours from start to finish.  When they left, everything was picked up, no trash left behind.  When they prepped, they ensured that everything that wasn't to be painted was covered securely.  All the trim, pop outs were one color and the stucco another.  The pricing for the work performed was well within industry norms.  George and his crew were very professional and courteous.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to my neighbors, which I already have.

They were cited with 17 violations, and never even showed up to meet with the state inspector. They painted in the rain, and painted the entire house in under 6 hours. We have to replace doors because they ruined them with a hand sander. We only got one coat of paint when we were promised two. They sealed in all of our lighting canopies, and the paint is blistered everywhere. They reuined an iron gate, and they did thousands of dollars worth of damage. They did refund the money we gave them, but we have quotes of $10,000 worth of damage from them. They never covered our concrete or patio furniture, so there are footprints and splatters everywhere. We now have to go after their bond, and we want to warn other homeowners against using them.

Robert Bishop Painting did a very poor job of painting our rooms. They got paint on our furniture and the carpet. They took down the drapes and didn't put them back up correctly. They missed a lot of areas with paint and when we called, they were rude. The workers did not speak English so it was very hard to communicate with them. We were very dissatisfied with them and their service.
