About us
Born Out Of A Storm Mother Nature lingered in the air; we had lost nearly everything during Hurricane Harvey. The trees were bare, ripped limb from limb, and the air was stale; a deep feeling of abandonment washed over my body. Why did I begin gathering debris and piecing bits of homes together? It was instinct. My carpenter hands began forming practical, comfortable art - furniture. There wasn't much shelter left for anyone, but my family had somewhere to sit. One day, in a flow of creative energy, a new bench took shape. Built to withstand any storm, its smooth lines and elegant curved edges seemed to accommodate every type of person. Our neighbors could finally rest, knowing that the journey of their beloved homes and schools was now a timepiece. What appeared to be lost was reclaimed for generations to enjoy.
