"Hello Ms, I apologize if you didn't have a smooth scheduling process. I do see that the option was given to your husband to change out the beam or apply a discount to the file ,and your husband decided on getting the discount so you guys were compensated for that issue. Please let me know if there is something else I can help you guys with."
The only issue I had was that in order to install the patio cover a portion of a corner wood eave had to be cut off. I was not home at the time and my spouse made the decision to let them do this in order to continue with the install. I don't know why this had to be done; was it a measuring error? Makes me wonder if I had been home and refused to let them cut the eave how would it have effected the install? The "B" for quality refers to the situation with cutting the eave of my house. We were assured that it was no big deal and that situations like that is typical in the patio cover installation business. After the work was completed one evening, the next day I inspected the work closely. The person who cut into the eave of the house did a very shoddy job of it and one portion of the wood looked as if it was hacked off not cut off cleanly. I took pictures and emailed the images in along with my dissatisfaction with how it was left. I received a response the next day with an apology and arrangements were made to have someone come back and "clean up" the cut. It was fixed, sealed and painted to match the color of the rest of the eave.
Other than the cutting of the eave, I'm satisfied with the work. The patio cover looks great. Only time will tell how it will wear, but there is a warranty. "B" for price as it did seem a tad pricey, but I'm hoping it's worth it (as in looks great years into the future).
