Poolscapes LLC

After much research we chose Poolscapes, the pool and landscaping took 3 months once they started to dig. We did start digging 30 days later but was communicated to us. We found out building a pool is ala carte! A million descisions / options... I felt our salesperson Ken really explained the options (whether they cost more or less and “why”), I felt he told us his opinion as a pool builder and not tell us what we wanted to hear just to get our business! We got 4 bids and when comparing apples to apples (pebbletec, infloor cleaning system, stamped concrete, Firepit, etc, etc, etc)we found Poolscapes to be the best price. It wasn’t cheap, and it doesn’t look like it either! Our landscaping is absolutely beautiful, again options, options, options.... our first bid was crazy! However with some adjustments and removing some items the price fit our budget and was in the exact same ballpark as the three other bids I received. My backyard looks like a million bucks, the quality is exceptional!

We started out getting bids from 2 other pool companies, but I'm so glad we made the decision to go with Poolscapes. Ken listened to our ideas and designed an awesome pool. Ivan added his expertise and between the two of them, I think they designed the most awesome pool in Las Vegas. We continued with Poolscapes for the landscaping and I didn't think they could outdo themselves, but Scott is an incredible artist. His landscaping design complements the pool and is nothing like we could have ever come up with on our own. Construction was a smooth process with Leroy running the project. He was always checking on the progress and making sure each step was completed on time. Scott (pool Scott) is a genius in setting up the apps for controlling the pool equipment and lighting. The subcontractors and crew were professional and cleaned up at the end of every day. Scott's landscaping crew are the best we have ever encountered. Friendly, professional, and treated our backyard like it was their own. During the whole process, any concerns or questions we had were answered immediately. We can't say enough good things about Ivan and his team.

Amazing pool installation!!!  Went through a lot of different cast of characters before finding Poolscapes.  After meeting with about 6 different pool install companies, I became very nervous about putting in a pool.  One company, who I don't even remember, drew his plan for our pool that looked like a charicature and the background and home was not even ours.  Poolscapes gave a very professional low pressure design pitch.  Michael, who we started the design process with, listened to our ideas and did not pressure us into choosing one design.  He was honest and allowed us to pick the options that mattered to us most without pressuring us into add ons like pebble tech that we really didn't care about.  He gave us the pros and cons at decision points and allowed us to make decisions.  With spending so much on a pool, it is good to know you are allowed to have so much input on the project.  Staying on time was very important to Poolscapes.  Everything went according to the time line they promised.  We have very small side yards and had to have our air conditioners moved in the middle of the summer.  It was only a matter of two days before our AC was on and running probably better than before after having a tune up while they were being moved.  I planned for the worst and expected there to be delays and problems.  There was none of that.  I have purchased cars and homes with way more hassle in the past.  the whole project took exactly 8 weeks as estimated.  I am amazed at how well they were able to keep on schedule.  End result is a pool I couldn't be happier with.  It looks AMAZING and I feel like I got a good deal and fair pricing.  The Pentair system they use has a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.  Anything with Pentair on it can be replaced if it becomes defective.  This provides a great deal of reassurance that I don't have to worry about expensive repairs for the next few years and can just enjoy my pool.  The owner Scott who comes out and personally shows you how to work the pool is very personable and has the hands of a working man.  This tells me he is really involved in the whole project and puts his heart and soul into his company.  We had his cell phone number at the start of the project and he encouraged us to call him if we had any questions, even silly ones, about the operation of the pool.  We were referred to Christian with Southwest Pool Cleaners through Poolscapes and they have been doing an awesome job taking care of the pool.  They show up every Tuesday and check on things.  You get a month of free pool service after pool is done.  It is a great piece of mind to know the pool is taken care of by someone recommended by Poolscapes.  The pool cleaner's fee is reasonable, only about 100 a month and they come by each week.  So glad I chose this company over others.  I am sure I made the right decision. 

From design to build to completion - good communication with a few minor exceptions and quality results.  We are very happy with the design, the work and the team of contractors.  Thanks to Scott and Leroy on the construction and Scott the landscape manager for being great to work with and to owner Ivan for the design and advice.  Since completion - we have had a few questions and they have always been responsive.  Would recommend highly.

For the overall experience, I loved it. The landscape is beautiful. I felt that the price was too high though. If you are looking for a beautiful landscape, they are very creative. They are not the best in follow up service. I would hire them again.
