Paul has been servicing my large water feature (waterfall, 30 feet stream, 2 4 feet by 2 feet ponds) for several years. One to two times a year. He has been helpful with problems as well a regular cleaning, even so far a devising a filter device to help a clogging problem.

I could not be happier with the work Paul did for me.  I called him after my green, murky pond water seemed to be going down rather rapidly.  He called me back the next day and set up an appointment.  He came to my home to see the pond and listened to my concerns and said that yes, my pond water was in bad shape. I told him that I just wanted my peaceful Koi pond back so I can enjoy it rather than stress out every time I looked at it.  We spoke at length about a new filtration system and getting my pond back to a healthy environment for my Koi. He is very knowledgeable about pond building, pumps, quality of water and fish.  We made an appointment for him to come back and clean the pond,  find the leak and install a new filtration system. He removed all of my Koi and safely placed them in a holding tank while ensuring the water stayed cool and aerated.  He then power washed my liner and installed the new filtration system which entailed removing an area of my pond which was made of cinderblock and very large boulders.  He works extremely hard and is meticulous.  You don't see him just hanging out there - he literally worked 13 hours straight.  He cleaned everything up when he was finished and replaced all of the boulders and rock that he had to move.  Oddly enough, my pond isn't leaking anymore!  We never found a hole in the liner so my only thought is the 'pond gods' thought my pond needed some TLC and Paul was the TLC they needed. I absolutely love my clean, clear pond and the Koi are swimming around in total bliss.  He gave me back my little piece of paradise and I am so grateful for that.  

Paul takes his time, thinks things through and does an expert job.  I trust him so much that I asked to be on his pond maintenance route.  One thing that spoke volumes to me about him was that he cared about the fish. He cares that they are in a healthy environment.  He's trustworthy, honest and keeps his word - attributes that are hard to come by in Las Vegas. I highly recommend him to anyone with a Koi pond.

I highly recommend Paul Des Roches, owner of Las Vegas Pond Care, to clean/maintain your pond.  He explained everything about the components, care of our pond, which I was ignorant about after having the pond for over 8 years.  He cleaned up the pond beautifully, explained exactly how to maintain it and even fixed a broken hose fixture for us.  He is very professional and very honest and
very knowledgeable.  He will happily be our choice for future pond care.

Paul did an excellent job was very prompt, called ahead, showing up at the agreed upon time. He removed and extremely heavy algae build-up in my small backyard pond, and installed a new pump. The job took a little longer than expected, but Paul did not over charge for the extra effort involved. Paul is very friendly and knowledgeable, will definitely use him again for any future problems. Highly recommend.

Paul arrived on time, introductions were made and walk thru of the pond area was completed. Went inside my home to discuss the job at hand and coffee was served. Paul recommended a filtering system for my green water and foliage for inside and outside the pond to make the pond visually pleasing. Recommendations were well taken and a second appointment was made to install the plants he was providing. Paul easy going, friendly and yes, I would use him again.

Paul was very professional and did not make us feel like idiots. He went step by step to explain the problem with the pond and explained in detail how to correct this problem in the future. Even though our equipment is outdated he did now pressure us to purchase anything.



He did all of this for no fee. This is very rare.



We absolutely plan on doing business with Paul in the future and we highly recommend him to anyone.

I had seen Paul work about seven years ago so I knew what he was about. I asked him to do the job while we where out of town. He really wanted someone here, for many reasons, so I had my sister who was house sitting, be his contact. She was very busy with other things and he didn't even notice that she wasn't here. He came every day, worked very hard did a beautiful job, and I came home to the most wonderful paradise in my own yard that I could imagine.

Paul worked for over an hour in 110 degree heat moving rocks, cleaning plant debris, reworking the pump system. I bought a new pump from him because what I had was wrong and had caused me to lose fish in the past. It was also very hard to clean and maintain and used a lot of energy. Paul charged only the price of the pump.
