Oasis Moving And Storage

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY! THIS IS A SCAM AND THEIR MOVERS WILL STEAL FROM YOU. I hired a moving company to move from across the country and they contracted oasis to come pick up our stuff. Not only their service was terrible ( inexperienced movers, took them almost 8 hours to load the truck, left important items) but they charged us 2x what they had quoted and also stole from us. Once they left we realized we were missing a laptop and wireless headphones left in a personal bag we had instructed not too touch. The owner of the company said he would guarantee items will be delivered with he rest of our stuff as he would confront the movers at their arrival to their location where they would transfer our stuff to a bigger truck for the final move. Not only we didn't receive the stolen items but we were also missing additional items which had been packed in the truck inside boxes (some boxes were broken and opened, we were missing an xbox one and smart watch). The owner didn't take any responsibility from anything missing and demanded payment in cash or he would take our stuff and sell everything in an auction. This was a terrible experience, I hired a moving company to make things easier for my family and it ended being a nightmare. This company should not be in business. Terrible!!! Increased prices without merit, that’s not the topper. Broke my smoker, damaged my 70” Samsung flatscreen, snaked my boxes, broke dishes, damaged my wall when moving my dresser out. With all that, and all you get “ file a claim” “ don’t contact us”

I moved from Arizona to Georgia.  The movers that did the pickup in Arizona were okay except they forgot to take a few things.

The problem was during the delivery of my property.  The driver of the truck was rude and demanding.  Nearly every single box had damage.  Many things were broken, scratched and I got no response from the company when I sent them a list of all the items that were damaged or destroyed.  My refrigerator was dented and scratched, I had glass tables that were chipped and scratched, wood side tables that were splintered and fractured.  Much of my fine china and glassware was completely destroyed to shreds.

I sent a list to Oasis and received nothing back, not even a thank you for your business.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

The move went well.  Only a couple small issues.
When the moving truck arrived at final destination a couple of the movers didn't show.  The drive and one mover had to move in all of my furniture.  The driver was great, worked is butt off to make up for the missing movers.  
I did have a small TV that didn't make it but I really think that was my poor packing that was the problem.  But i was going to see if the insurance would cover the TV (pretty inexpensive TV so i wasn't really worried about it).  The problem was the moving company wouldn't return my calls or my emails.  Before the move they were in constant contact with me but after the move was over they would not respond to my calls or emails.  That kinda made me mad.

I don't actually recall the price, but we used them because they were affordable. We used this company for the sole purpose of saving money. In the end they cost us thousands in stolen and damaged items. Never ever use them. They literally tossed items into boxes smashing and breaking everything that was fragile along the way. Jewelry, cash and cameras were taken. We found broken glass around the house.

They were awful.  They were the worst company we have been around and we have been with the military and have moved 13 times in my life. I will never use them again and would never recommend them to anybody to move.  I went to Angie's List to find them and they weren't listed as being negative so I had them give me a bid.  The person who came out to do the estimate was not the same people who came to do the move.  Their bid was for $6,000.00 then they packed and loaded all our stuff on their vehicle.  Then they told us that we needed to give them $15,000.00 or they would not move our stuff.  Basically they said they would unload and unpack it and held our stuff ransom for more money.  They did it after we pulled our kids out of school and scheduled everything around the date they said they provided for the move so we couldn't even call another company.  Then they charged us $15,000.00 twice so we had to call our credit card company and have the credit card company decline one of the charges.  Then when we arrived here there were things missing from our delivery so they stole about 10 of our boxes.  Yah, they showed up the day of the move but trying to get a hold of somebody was a joke.  I would not ever use them again.

Aside from all the theft and destruction of my belongings they were punctual. They however do not care they left me with nothing. They offered to accept a claim at 30 cents a pound.
