Noble Tree Service, Inc

The primary task was to top two trees that were blocking my solar panels. Instead they trimmed the bottom branches and left the top blocking the panels. It'll take several years to get the bottom to grow out enough to top the trees. I think the problem was language, I explained it clearly and showed the crew chief what was needed. I was more concerned with what was going on in the back yard and didn't watch them out front closely. Lesson learned.

How refreshing that they showed up exactly on time, and completed the work in an hour! Not a single branch hit the roof, amazing how the man cut them so they all fell into the yard. ALL trunks, limbs, leaves and twigs were cleaned up better than we would have done ourselves. Friendly and efficient, and the price was less than we expected. Would definitely use them again.

The trees were cut satisfactorily. Some of the top branches that are hanging low should have been trimmed. The bottom of the trees were cleaned up but in my opinion the tops of the trees were not thinned enough.

After multiple estimates, we chose Noble.  The scheduling was a bit difficult due to the Thanksgiving holiday backing them up, but the contact there always remained in touch as he saw how their availability progressed.
The trucks arrived about 10 min early, and within 5 minutes there were SIX people already doing their own of the various different projects.  Two guys immediately started climbing our large pine tree and working on that, another one had an extended chain saw and went to the backyard, two others worked together to cut down and immediately pick up one of the trees leaning into our neighbor's property.  The last guy was cleaning up the mess from the original tree that had broken due to weather, causing us to call for tree trimming in the first place.  He was also helping to clean up as the backyard guy continued to do his work.
It was impressive to see them all work together so efficiently.  We offered them all water and I don't even know how they drank any since the 6 seemed to be working non-stop.
The results were healthier looking trees, and I noticed that where other companies had said they would need to remove entire large chunks of some of hte trees, Noble's guys trimmed only as much as was necessary.
It was clear they had the proper knowledge and equipment for each job.  (The two guys working in the giant tree moved effortlessly like monkeys that had grown up in trees all their lives! )
One company had told us it would take about 5 hours to do everything, and Noble had said 2-3, but they were done, with everything cleaned up in just over 2 hours.
There were a couple misunderstandings regarding which stumps to remove, and how many we actually  had (our mistake), but the guy in charge took care of the extra stump at no charge to satisfy us.
When it was all complete, I was also impressed at how tidy everything was left.  Of course there were tiny twig pieces here an there, but from about 10 feet away looking at our front lawn or even backyard, you couldn't tell.  They were a completely self-contained, super efficient unit. 
After signing for the payment, I was pleasantly surprised that the coordinator did not linger for any type of gratuity...but they definitely deserved it so we gave the guys a tip to share anyway
We would hire them again in a second, and will refer them to anyone with tree trimming/stump removal needs!

It went great. Noble arrived at our house on time with a cherry picker and a crew of 10. They proceeded with vigor and a professional demeanor. All the branches went into a large chipper and they cleaned up everything.  A first class professional job.

Excellent crew!  One and a half hours and they were done.  Precise cleanup of all debris.  Trees look wonderful.

the workers swooped in took care of my trees, cleaned up and moved on to the next job. there was no problem adjusting what I wanted once they were here. They worked in the rain, were polite, cleaned up and the trees look great.
The trees had grown into the second story and were way to tall for us. They took care of all our trees quickly, efficiently and reasonably priced.

They arrived earlier than we were told they would be here.  The supervisor who gave us the quote was not here to supervise after he told us he would be here.  The trimming was performed satisfactorily except for one tree that was not shaped well.  The problem is that when they carried the cut off branches out of our yard, they broke the top off of our two-tier Texas privet.  We had two matching two-tier privets, one on either side of our grill.  They did not tell us that they broke it and just propped the top of the privet up so we didn't notice it until two days later.  I called Mike, the owner, and he said that he didn't know anything about it and he would talk to Bob LaRocca, the (non-appearing) supervisor of the job. After a few days of not getting a reply from Noble Tree, I called again, and Mike said that they would replace the privet.  I called Bob and he said that he couldn't find a two-tier privet at the nurseries that he tried.  I told him where we had bought them.  I also called the nursery and they said that they had two.  It is now over a month later, and they have not replaced the privet and have not returned any of my calls.

This type of customer service is unacceptable.  I would not use them again and would never recommend them to anyone.

UPDATE 12/6/14:
They called this morning at 8:30 am and said they were going to bring the tree over. They did, they planted it for me and did a good job. I think the trouble with everything was lack of communication.

He made the repair quickly and explained his actions.

Once we got the quote and made our decision. We have 3 companies bid on this. They were the best. Middle range.
They were on time; finished the job on time and very professional. We used them again to trim a very big tree in the winter. We have used them 2 x

They had a whole crew and a crane. It took one to two hours. They cleaned up the area well. They did leave two stumps because they had to wait for them to dry. They responded quickly, gave us cell contact. He understood the situation. They were efficient and did what they were suppose to do. They were just awesome.

They are fantastic. They are punctual and they stick to their word. They are perfectionists and artists and they did a fabulous job.

Mike gave us an estimate Tuesday and they arrived promptly at 7 a.m. Thursday. The crew of 5 were quick, efficient and tidy and completed ALL the work in an hour! Outstanding!

We first hired Noble Tree in 1999 to save our trees and shrubs which had been seriously neglected by the Developer. Every other tree service said they could not save the trees. Noble has continued to prune our front yard every year or so. Our trees are in great shape, they always arrive on time, prices are more than competitive and the crew is very easy to work with. In 2013, our irrigation system line under the driveway cracked and there were additional problems throughout the yard. Noble Tree was Magnificent! Came out to the house immediately, explained what they needed to do, it was a very hot day and they had to work so hard. The irrigation system works better than new. We highly recommend them.

Everything went great. It was during a heat wave in the summer and they still did an excellent job. I'm amazed that 6 months later the yard still looks great and only requires minor maintenance. I had one small irrigation problem and they were quick to come out the next day to fix it. Overall an excellent experience and I will use Noble Tree for all my landscaping needs.

Both trimming and clean-up were excellent. The foreman gave us a tip on how to remove palm sprouts that had started when we failed to have our trees trimmed the last time they had pods. After a rain, the ground was soft and we were able to follow his suggestion, successfully removing our little palm starts. We have used Noble in years past, and have always been happy with them.

Their price was reasonable and they were prompt.

Noble Tree Service Inc came out, did my quote really quick, they did good work, hauled everything away, and it wasn't an extra call.

They do a great job. They clean up everything when they are done. The trees end up looking great. I would absolutely recommend them to other people who are looking at tree trimming services.
