They did fine, but I thought they were very expensive. They were very professional. They were very polite and respectful. I had no problem with them. They gave me a quote and then it turned out they had to do other work and so it cost more, which I guess is probably pretty standard. If you think you have to do one thing, but you have to do three things, it is going to be more expensive. I don't have any complaints about them. The quality of their work was fine. They came right out. I was having a problem and I needed someone to come out. I would find someone more local if I needed someone in the future.

Cost was not explained well. We needed the toilet repaired ASAP and didn't have time for another estimate. WHAT A MISTAKE! After everything completed, literally everyone I have talked to says that the price was way out of line. I assume it was partially because he couldn't fix it the first day and had to bring someone with him the following day. Will NEVER use this company again.

I'm calling around to see if I can get it done cheaper. I feel that they are overcharging and should have had the camera the first time they cleaned out the pipes.

The biggest rip off artist I have ever met. I could not find the clean out , so "I reccomended" he remove the toilet and do it from there. said the cleanout was under the window and watched me as I dug around to find it  he did not offer to help at all.He snaked the drain and said he could not clean it. He would come back tomorrow and find the cleanout by using a gound sensor and that I needed to have my driveway cut up because the sewer ran next to the water line. Said he would give me a loan for $6,000.00 to pay for it. Luckily i decided to get a second opinion. I found the cleanout by looking at the house two doors down that was the same model as mine and it was exposed there. Mine was in the same place, Hey!!! Mr. Sam rooter is that so hard to figure out. I called Rakeman plumbing and right form the start these guys were great, No problem if we cant find the clean out we will go from the vent on the roof. Luckily i found it before he came!!!! He open it nad found the blockage right at the clean out on the "Bridge". The he told me to find where the sewer line comes in look for the "S" on the curb there it was no where near tje drive way. Anyway, do not use Mr. sam Rooter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The overall service call was a mess.  Too many people - took too many hours, and the price was unreasonable.  I will not use Mr. Rooter ever again.

After 35 years our toilets were not flushing properly. I had coupons that Mr. Rooter had sent out earlier
this year, so I decided to call them. They came out the same day and gave me the estimate, witch I
accepted. The next morning the Tech. came with all the parts and equipment. The job was done in
a timely fashion and Mr. Thomas was cordial and efficient.

4/21/2011 (Thurs) - Hot water pipe burst in laundry-room.  Mr. Rooter called for estimate.  Estimated $8300 to repipe whole house hot & cold pipes.  Agreed to estimate under the pressure of repairing the leak due to leak requiring water to be turned off in the house.  Work to begin in the morning.

4/22/2011 (Fri) - Work commenced at 9:00ish.  2 plumbers.  I contacted another plumber used previously to find out how much he would charge to repipe 1500sq ft home with 2 bathrooms and laundryroom.  His estimate was $6000-6500 and 2-4 days but he wouldn't be able to start until Monday.  Contacted Mr. Rooter to ask how much was owed to stop the work now so another contractor could take over.  Was told the job was "halfway through" and to stop now and pay Mr. Rooter for work done and the new contractor $6000-6500 would end up costing way more than the $8300 estimate.  Decided to let Mr. Rooter complete the job.  Hot water was promised to be on and useable that day.

4/23/2011 (Sat) - Work commenced at 9:00ish.  2 plumbers.  Still no hot water.  Ron went with me to purchase a new water heater and installed it for free.  After plumbers left around 10pm - upon trying to shower,a leak developed in the hall bathroom so water was turned off again.

4/24/2011 (Sun) - 2 plumbers and supervisor worked from 9-2pm ish.  Still no hot-water.  When trying to shower, another leak developed in laundryroom and water had to be turned off again.

4/25/2011 (Mon) - 1 plumber.  Insurance adjuster conducted an inspection of work done so far.

4/26/2011 (Tues) - Building Inspector inspected plumbing and passed the work done.  Dry-wall contractor arrived and estimated repairs to walls at $880.00

4/27/2011 (Wed) - Dry-wall contractor repaired walls. Cost:  $880.00

4/28/2011 (Thurs) - Dry wall repairs continued.  Called Mr. Rooter to have washer/dryer hooked up temporarily so laundry could be done.

4/29/2011 (Fri) - Another shower resulted in slow draining and both bathroom floors were flooded with clean water.  Mr. Rooter came and hooked up washer/dryer temporarily and snaked sewer line at no charge and replaced a cracked washer hose for free because he had stepped through the laundry-room ceiling by accident.

5/11/2011 - Slow drain on shower again and clean water leak between bathrooms.  Mr. Rooter stated it was not from the repipe job and snaked the sewer line from house to street for free.

6/4/2011 - Front yard faucet broke at plastic connector previously installed by Mr. Rooter.  Mr. Rooter's fault as they did not install a plank to stabilize the faucet.  Mr. Rooter repaired it for free, though the plumber did not think it was their fault.

6/8/2011 - Heard water running in wall of laundry-room.  Thought it was the water-softener stuck on regeneration.  Called soft-water company.

6/9/2011 - Soft-water company said the water running was not from softener unit but probably a broken irrigation line which runs under the driveway.  Called Rakeman Plumbing for an estimate to find and repair leak.  Asked this plumber about the work done by Mr. Rooter.  His inspection revealed:  that the laundry-room looked like the old pipe, connections, etc. were left in place rather than replaced with new stuff which he would have done had he repiped the whole house.  He discovered a main-line and irrigation line leak under the driveway and estimated $2200 to repair them.  The work was completed by Rakeman.

I filed a complaint with the FTC Ref # 31026567, YELP, LasVegasComplaints.com,Attorney General's office, and will file with Contractor's Board in the hope that they will inspect Mr. Rooter's work more closely.

Scott, Supervisor, contacted me and requested I remove the YELP complaint.  I told him once I reviewed the cost-breakdown and was sure my parents were charged appropriately, I would consider removing the complaint.  John the Owner also contacted me to see if I received the documents I requested.  To date (8/3/2011) I have received nothing.  I am pursuing a contractor's board complaint.

I am a single mom and they were always good and up front when they came out. They were on time for the appointments. I could always count on them to be kind to my ninety year old mother in laws when they did work at her home. I could trust them to get the job done and to communicate with me. They might be a little bit more expensive, but the service is really good. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

I called them because the pipe under the sink was broken and leaking. They repaired that in a professional manner, and I felt okay with that work and told them so. But then they continued to find and recommend additional repairs. They seemed like reasonable changes, but by the time we were done, I felt like their main goal had to been to generate sales and not to do repair work that would be helpful for us. I ended up agreeing to replace the pipes under the sink, the garbage disposal and then a bigger job -- replacing horizontal lines under the house. They claimed we should do this because the pipes were rotten and rusted and were leaking under the house. There was leaking, but I was skeptical about the cause. We agreed to do all of this for a total of $2000. I felt uncomfortable but hoped for the best. When they finished all of the work, they did final checks and found significant leakage from the bathroom shower to the area under the house that they had worked on. But then they suggested that their work was done, and that this was a different issue. It seemed to me that they had made their big sale for the day and just wanted to get out, even if it meant that they had done the wrong repairs and did not fix the basic problems. After my expressed concern, they seemed to make a disgruntled attempt to repair the shower leak but started to explain it as a crack in the shower line that would require taking out part of the wall. This was not in their line of work. Then they left. Although the experience started out all right, it ended with my feeling that I had just done close to $2000 of unnecessary work and a problem remained to be resolved. I ultimately called a handy man, who determined that the seat in the shower had been installed incorrectly. He made the replacement and everything has been fine since. Again my opinion with Mr Rooter is that their mode of operation is to advertise, get people in need of quick help, and then attempt to sell them as much as they can whether it is needed or not. I felt in the end that they didn't want to intelligently solve simple problems, they just wanted to maximize their daily income. In follow-up conversations, I felt that they tried to belittle my concerns. I will never work with them again.

Our kitchen would flood when we used the dishwasher or laundry. The plumber came to clean out our line, and charged us $194.00 to snake out a 30-foot line. Later in the week, the flooding came back. A plumber came out again, and tested the pipes, saying that the work had been done properly the first time. Then, the bathtub and toilet backed up. I called a new plumber who identified the problem as roots in the main line, snaked out the main line, and there have been no more floods. Their price is way out of line for the little work that they did, which had no effect anyway, since they misunderstood the problem.

One of the jobs was $220 and the other was $160. I think their prices are probably fair. Each time I call. They call back very quickly and tell me that someone is on their way. I had them out on a Sunday both times, and their rates for the weekend are the same for the weekdays, which is very nice. One of the jobs involved getting on the roof. There were different people for each job. Each was very professional, courteous and quick. They have a printed book with all the pricing, and they stick to it. They also give a six-month warranty when they are done with the job. Every person that I have dealt with in person or on the phone has been very good- professional and courteous. It seems like a nice place to work. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

This took care of the problem and they told me I needed to replace the main line. The problem is that the payback of doing that is more than 10 years even at inflated rooter prices. The work was fine, but the pricing is high for one hour of work.

Price was on the high side. What was originally a small job ended up being a large one. Used camera system to verify broken main sewer line. Used trenchless pipe bursting system to replace pipe. They did look at the kitchen drain pipe and replaced a few small drain pipes under the sink (before the old galvanized pipe). In summary, the slow kitchen drain pipe was not fixed and they wanted $7000 more to break into walls and replace all drain pipes including the one bad one. Added to this is that this pipe was now leaking under the house. During the job, they had said at least once that if you don't have the job done now, it would cost more to come back and do it another day. They didn't even patch up the cement in the back yard where they dug down to the sewer.
