Meineke Car Care Center #1603

On 6/13/17 we brought car in to fix overheating problem. Paid $300+ to install thermostat and checked to see if head gaskets damaged. They said they were ok. Next day same problem so they thought air pocket at no charge. Next day same problem so went back. They said we needed a fan assembly. Paid $400+ to have them install that but told them we were hesitant to put any more money into the car. Next day same problem. Brought it back now they say we need head gaskets and head work. We said we didn't want them working on our car again and wanted a refund. We were told that the supervisor's solution was for them to apply the $400+ towards the headgasket work. We asked and have tried to talk to the supervisor. Every time we call we just missed him or he's in a meeting When we went in to talk to him once again we just missed him. We took our car back and it's been a week and still no call from supervisor Son Tran. If they can couldn't fix the car the first three times why would we trust them to fix the car the fourth time and pay them a lot of money for head gasket work. Will either buy another used car or go someplace else to have it fixed don't trust them

Used the oil change coupon which stated the price of $12.95 plus tax. Anyway to my surprise they also added an additional $5.00 which when I asked they told me it was for shop supplies. In all my years I have never had any auto shop charge me an additional $5.00 for shop supplies.
I think they should have been upfront with me when I dropped off my car and presented them with the oil change coupon which that there were going to charge me the $5.00 extra surcharge. When I asked what the $5.00 was for, the person told me for the oil rags they needed to use to change my oil! Absulotely Ridiculous!!!
I was a repeat customer with Meineke, but that all ended yesterday. When I also told the person when I paid my bill that I will never use their services again, he replied and quot; Whatever and quot;!
Since my business means nothing to them, their bad attitude and dishonest business practice will catch up with them someday and I also believe word of mouth advertising will be to their disadvantage.

I have been going to Meineke on Seren for 6 years (when I moved here from CA), I had gone to a brake place and they told me my wheel cylinder was leaking. they wanted a lot of money to fix it. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and went to Meineke on Serene. They looked at my car and called me out there to say the cylinder was NOT leaking! That was when I knew where I would be bringing my car from then on. Every time I need to go in, they find the problem and fix it correctly. I do everything at this Meineke. The other Meineke I love is the one on Blue Diamond. Frank and Robert are wonderful and very friendly.

I was very pleasantly surprised both times I went to Meineke. Usually I go to Toyota for my periodic maintenance and end up paying over $300. And for the past 3 years, Toyota has told me my battery was ready to die and needed replacement. Three years later, my battery (the same one ready to die) is going strong. I sit in the waiting room and listen to Toyota telling almost every single customer they need some expensive work done. I will NEVER go to a Toyota dealer again for service. At Meineke, I listened to what their customers were being told - none but one was told they needed extra work. I dealt with Kevin and will go to this Meineke from now on and I will tell my friends about them. I've already told my son and he plans on going to them also.
