Contacted Lowes to get an estimate for a glass shower door. They charge $40 for someone (a subcontractor) to come out and take the measurements. After calling Lowes and arranging for the subcontractor to come out and take the measurements, nothing happened. I had to follow-up with Lowes several times to get the subcontractor to show up. After the subcontractor came and took the measurements, I waited a week and still never heard back from Lowes. Had to call them again to find out what was going on. It was obvious that Lowes had lost the measurements taken by the subcontractor. It took Lowes another two days to come up with a bid that was extremely hap-hazard and substantially greater than the two other bids we received. Overall, a very negative experience. Would never use Lowes again for any type of home improvement project.

They have very fair pricing. I get a 10% military discount. They're always very responsive and it don't seem to matter who or what company is actually coming out. It's different companies for plumbing or garage doors or whatever. But whoever Lowes sends out always does an excellent job, fair pricing, punctual, explain new items and how to operate them, the pros and the cons, and everything. I am just totally satisfied with their product and services.

Be honest with you the only work I have had done is installing stuff, and I buy it at Lowes and use whoever they send me. I had a microwave, reverse osmosis, and garage door opener installed. The quality is great. If I remember correctly they actually installed it the next day, which was great. It took them I think about two hours total. The workers were very good.

The door was not working properly and needed to be repaired. Lowe's stated they could fix it but they would charge $40 to come look at it. I was supposed to receive a call back but never did. I received a call from a company, being used by Lowe's to get measurements for a new door. They had a work order that I never signed. This particular company stated they don't repair and they would contact Lowe's. Lowe's then told me they do not do any repairs on products they have installed. She said she would refund the service charge but I had to go online and find an approved vendor. I also had issues with a door handle under warranty and Lowe's did not help, I had to contact the manufacturer directly. I would not use Lowe's products again

The company that was sent was very quick and complete. The service people in Lowes were great both with advisement of what I needed and giving me a great price.

They did an excellent job and we would use them again.

Returned product. Was given the $215.00 the faucet originally cost, and compensated the $80 paid to the installer for just showing up. The people at Lowe's were very nice, but the dishonesty in selling a used product as a new one for full price has made me positive I will never again make an important purchase from Lowe's.

The reason we were buying a fridge was because the side-by-side that we had purchased less than 2 years prior had broken. Actually the container that held the ice cubes before being dispensed had become stuck(could not removed it) nor would the ice maker function any longer. Luckily I had the Lowes 2 yr warranty on the appliance. I called the warranty administrators, and they sent out my local repair people. It was agreed that the ice maker was broken, so they ordered a new one. Well, it turned out that they had stopped making that model of fridge, so there was no way to replace the icemaker system..and believe it or not..Lowes sent me a check for the full amount plus tax that I had paid for my fridge, and I also got to keep the fridge which works well except for ice-maker!!!!!CUDOS to LOWES, I AM A BELIEVER.
We used the check from the old fridge(no expiration date ANOTHER BONUS with no questioned asked, then charged the remainder, interest free for 6 months.....BRAVO LOWES

I had gotten a magazine and found a grout cleaning machine I wanted to get for my daughter. I went to several Lowe's stores and no body knew what I was talking about. When I went to this particular Lowe's store, the store manager sat down with me and looked it up in the computer. They found out it was something new that they were just starting to carry and did not have any in the store but would ship one to me. When they shipped them, they accidentally charged me twice. They called me and let me know what had happened and that it was already corrected so when I got my bill I would not wonder what was going on.
I have never had someone sit down and take that much time to help me before. She really did a great job of trying to figure out what was going on and if they carried the product.

Lowes wants me to put down all the money up front (Feb 23rd). But told me it will be 2 weeks before the carpet comes in (march 8th). Two days later I receive a call saying the carpet was in and they could install it on the 3rd of March. After installing the carpet I see that I didn't get what I paid for. Instead of getting the carpet I order I received worn and low quality carpet. The manager came over and noticed right away it wasn't the right carpet and said it looked like the backside of the carpet. She also said she would contact the manufacture and see what happened. We had to save for two years and now we're out of $4,500. We called our credit card company and put a stop payment on the funds until we receive the correct carpet. The store manager Jason said that he would call by the end of the day and would try to get everything resolved. Even thought they're supposed to call back this morning (March 13 2013) but she never did. She came to take more pictures on 3.13.12 but told us it will be a few more days before we will hear back from the manufacture.

It was a great experience working with the people who installed my new refrigerator. They did an excellent job and were very professional I would definately recommend purchasing an appliance through Lowes.

They have done fantastic work. I highly recommend them! They're professional. We've had better luck with them than any contracting/installation services.

It was a very good experience. They have a sales person who is excellent. The government is giving rebates on energy efficient appliances and we just had a good experience with him. He walked us through what we needed to do for our rebate. His name Van and I thought he was wonderful, I would recommend anyone go and see him. It was the best price in town.
