We started Level because, after years in the building industry (Civil, Structural, Home Building, etc.) we continued to see something missing in our industry that cost homeowners untold stress and frustration, lost contractors time and money, and real estate agents and lenders were left unable to satisfy their client's needs. We decided to do something about it, and Level Engineering was founded. We serve your interests and provide knowledgeable expert inspection, analysis, recommendation, design, and reporting. I initially rated Level Engineering as 1-star; however, all issues have been remedied. Maybe my experience with a local engineer and the local office was a one-off because I do see many positive reviews. My issues with the engineer assigned to my project was he was a poor communicator and lacked accountability. There was also an issue with the structural drawings, something I didn't know to catch, but the City of Henderson caught during permitting. How the local office reacted to the discrepancy was unsatisfactory, but with the support of Customer Relations and the company's CEO, the issue was resolved. 3 star rating is more than fair for the Las Vegas office of Level Engineering.

They visited my home in September and asked for payment to begin their analysis and produce a structural report of my home. That was the last time they reached out to me. I began calling them for updates. If they answered it was they were working on it or they are out in the field. Then in December I was told the report was ready and would be emailed to me. In January, I was told the report would be ready the following week contradicting the status of the report from the previous month. That was two weeks again and still nothing. Here we are at February 5 months after they took payment and have produced nothing. A refund has been formerly requested and am waiting yet again for a response.

This was the first time working with a structural engineer. Kyle was responsive to our calls and questions. He was easy to talk to, exchange ideas with and discuss methods of how to accomplish our ceiling vaulting project and support requirements for strengthening our roof. Level Engineering pricing was better than reasonable.

Level Engineering was fast and professional. Las Vegas requires any new build in a home that is attached to an outside wall or load bearing wall to be inspected by a licensed structural engineering firm. Level Engineering was prompt, friendly, and returned the documents within a few days.

Very professional. He went up in the attic to check structure in the heat of summer. He used professional survey equipment to measure elevations. We chose to include a "Stamped" report which added to the price, but believe we received a good value for the money.

Though we are still awaiting the final drawings for our project, the Engineer was knowledgeable and had some good insights. He was also willing to let us tear into walls and investigate the foundation depth under a load bearing wall on our own and provide photos, etc. which saved some time and money. Pricing was comparable to other companies with the same M.O. They also allowed our initial visit cost to act as the deposit on the final drawings.
