2. Came on a weekend, the same day I called.
3. Good prices.
"I went above and beyond what was expected and did an excellent job. Building was old had several small roofs draining through walls and was very flat, I made it clear we could assist with drainage but may not be possible to get it perfect without rebuilding the structure I demonstrated great skill and additional materials, water ponding is never easy and we got it almost perfect for not much money given size and complicated nature of task. I did not ask for a deposit@ start of work, when we were done, he nit picked it apart and said he was not paying. He and his client basically threatened to throw me out. I tried to compromise and suggest that given it was outside my scope, if he paid a nominal additional $120 for material I would do labor for free. He refused and he and his owner were antagonistic and nasty. I would not work for him again as he and his owner were bad people"
After they completed the requested work, they inspected my entire roof and found a few other issues which they also fixed. John and his crew are very professional and thorough, I was really happy in choosing this company. If, and when, I have future roof issues, I will not hesitate to call this company. I will definitely recommend Let it Rain Roofing to all my friends and neighbors.
I got three bids total for this job.
The house sits on a Golf Course, and tiles had been broken by golf balls and age, causing a leak during the last big storm.
As an owner of rental property, John made the process very easy.
All communication was done over the phone and by email.
John contacted the tenants, inspected the roof, and sent in his bid.
I asked for before, during and complete pictures, as I am not on property, and could not climb on a second story roof if I was.
John sent pictures as requested, and tenants called with progress reports as well.
John put on new underlayment at the sight of the leak, and replaced 100 plus tiles.
It was a 2 day project for his crew.
John did not get a down payment, and came to my house to collect payment at completion of the job, as I was working and not able to meet with him beforhand.
John was great, and I am confident his work was also.
I would call him again and recommend. Price was very fair.
On Friday, he didn't show up at 1:30, he showed up at 3:15 without a ladder. I said he's late I have to go pickup my son. He said he will do it fast won't be long. He found a way jumped up to roof, took some pictures at his phone, came down and showed me what he got. He showed me some area other roofer didn't show me. Because he was late, he said he had lower the price (other roofer asked $350). He said will come on Monday between 9-10am.
On Monday, he showed up on time riding his bike. I was on the roof taking pictures and wondering how he going to fix to roof without anything. He used the same way jumped up to the roof meet me. He explained a worker will showup later with the things they need. I said ok and went down, went to the front. When I got to the front, he was gone(not on the roof). So I waited, and wondering where is he. Few minutes later, a pickup truck showed up with a ladder. He came out from a corner of the house said he was in a shade away from the sun. They went up to the roof used the ladder, started their work. Maybe hour and helf later, they finished. He said call him if need again. I asked for the business card. He said he ranout. Afteall, I think he did a good job repair the roof.
