It's not astroturf. It's a fake product. It's not real grass but it looks like real grass. It's not your traditional funky looking astroturf. It looks more real. It's really popular in Nevada. They took away the old sod that we had left. They converted the existing water lawnery to a drip system for the few trees and few bushes that we kept so they converted what was already there to drip for those specific plants. They put down a stand and a pocket. Then they put down the turf of fake grass. Then they put brush and a stand on top of that to hold it in place. They got it done fast and they did a really good job. It was really price. We did the front yard, the side yard and small piece of the back yard. It was a really good price.

Overall process was great. Quickly made it out for a estimate, estimate was done right there on the spot. I was able to slip into an opening and had complete process done in two days. Jeff and his crew showed up each day at the time he said he would. Keep the area clean and allowed me to do some repairs that were needed before putting down the new stuff. Jeff gave great input for design and work-ability. 
I did have an issue with some sand being left in a corner of my lot. I gave him a call that went to voicemail. No later than 2 minutes he is calling me from a night out with his family to correct the issue. He was not aware what had happened and had his guys come out the next day(which as a Sunday) to remove it.
I am extremely happy with the end product and working with Jeff and the crew. All were very friendly, enough were my dog would not come back in the house because they were playing with him. 
I will be calling them this fall when I replace the front natural lawn this fall, that is for sure.

From the first phone contact through the completion of work, it was a wonderful experience. My questions were answered over the phone during my first contact, I had been told by others that they couldn't respond to them until they came to the house. The owner is the person that answers the phone, he is also the person that came to do the measurements and he was at the house during the installation process. They were prompt, professional and when installation was finished, they cleaned up after themselves and removed all the debris. The only thing they left was a beautiful new lawn that hasn't needed any mowing or trimming!

We had been putting this off, until there was more evidence it would be worth the money. We are glad we finally decided to do it, because it not only improves the appearance of our yard, but it is also the best weed deterrent they have discovered. The job was done in one afternoon, and it is secured very tightly to the ground. We also don't have to water, or mow it.
