Title Companies
What a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS TITLE COMPANY. My husband and I were nice enough to let the seller choose the title company. Normally, it is the buyer's choice. From day one, the process was a nightmare. Our escrow officer, Dani Suess would not communicate with our real estate agent to let him know the status of the closing. He was so frustrated with her. She had a terrible attitude toward my husband and myself as well. When the documents were finally recorded, two of them were non-compliance. We were charged an additional $50.00. I asked Dani Suess to refund us the $50.00 since Lawyers Title prepared the documents and they should have known what the county requires. She flat out refused to refund the $50.00. In addition, they tacked on so many miscellaneous fees. This is the fifth house we have bought and the first time we used Lawyers Title of Nevada. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a title company. Please do not use Lawyers Title of Nevada.
