Las Vegas Future Floors

The service went well. The installers were awesome. The folks who ordered the stuff need to re-major their stuff, they didn't measure well. But the person that came and did the installation did a great job.

We first used this business in 2010 when the name was Las  Vegas Hardwood Floors.  The owner, Eric, Stacey, John and Kenny were all very friendly and helpful.  We had 2 bathroom floors done, carpet in family room, and new laminate floors put in the dining room, living room and entry area, plus all new baseboards thru the whole lower level of the house.  The staff, workers and the workmanship were top notch.  We could not have been more pleased.  However, in May of 2011, we again used this business which had changed its name to LV Future Floors, and had replaced the former staff with a new general manager.  (not good).  The owner was still the same, but that is about all.  We scheduled the demo and replacement of a tile bathroom floor, and new baseboards upstairs to match what had been put in downstairs.  It took about 3 months from the signing of the contract to get the project started.  The floor I now have in the bathroom is worse than what they replaced.  There were other issues involved, mostly because the general manager did not communicate to her workers.  Some of those issues were resolved, but the major problems in the bathroom were not.  The workers left my house filthy.  There were black hand prints on the bathroom walls, door and cabinet. I had them come back to clean up after themselves.  My carpet and stairs were black.  I had to hire a professional carpet cleaner to come in and clean everything.  It was such a disappointing experience especially after having such a great experience the first time.  The company I once rated and A dropped down to a D. Most recently, I have been trying for the last 3 months to get them back here to repair a board that got damaged, re-stretch the carpet they put in in 2010, and look at some of the bathroom floor issues I still have a problem living with since its installation.  Eric is always very polite and pleasant, always listens to what I have to say, and always promises to get the work done for me.  He always promises a call back the next day with a schedule for when someone will be out.  After 3 months, several phone calls, several excuses, several promises, 2 visits to the store, we are still waiting.  We went from totally satisfied with this company to totally disgusted.

Sales staff was courteous, and the cost estimate was made the day of my initial inquiry. The installation occured a few days later. The installers were punctual and very efficient. They were friendly and courteous, and completed their task in a day and a half. As far as I can tell, the work is defect free. I should also add that the total cost was less than my initial estimate.
