Las Vegas Flooring

Our Realtor recommended Keith at Las Vegas Flooring when we decided to remove carpet and replace with wood/laminate flooring in our recently purchased home.  From the start, Keith was knowledgeable and informative.  We looked at several flooring companies and were confused regarding the durability of engineered wood flooring vs laminate wood flooring.  And we immediately noticed large variances in price at all the places we looked.  
We told Keith our life-style which includes young grandchildren, pets, spills and accidents.  He cut through the confusion and told us to go with a high-end laminate and assured us we could find a style we liked cheaper than engineered wood and would be more durability in the dry Nevada climate.  
He was absolutely correct.  We found a laminate that even our Realtor could not tell the difference from engineered wood flooring.  He scheduled the installation immediately and had the flooring ordered.  The installers were professional and did a great job.  Took off all the woodwork and put back with only minimal touch up needed.  We couldn't be happier!!
The result is beautiful and we know we have a quality flooring for our life style.

This alleged two-three day re-tile turned into five. I cannot complaint about the tile work. However, all the faucets and show heads and other were left off. The estimate read in small pint and quot;detach and reset glass shower enclosure and any plumbing to be removed and installed by others.and quot; Thus, after they finish, you still have to hire someone to re-attach all the plumbing back and also the shower glass. People were hired to and quot;Re-modeland quot; a bathroom, not to leave the work for someone else. Be very careful when you use them. There are many good reputable people who provide the same work but leave the bathroom finished and ready for use when they are done. These people left a mess around the house and the bathroom in disrepair. They also forgot to put in the border around the bathroom tile. They simply want to reduce the cost of the border. However, the entire look of the bathroom changed. So many others will do a complete job, not sure why anyone would use them (unless they have a plumber they would rather work with). Also, after it was completed, the step to get into the shower was actually leaning out. The installer of the shower door stated it was the worst he has ever seen. Apparently the step needs to be inclining back to the shower so the water falls back instead of out.

Las Vegas Flooring was called in my the contractor handling the repairs for the insurance company due to a broken pipe flooding our master bedroom and bathroom. My husband being very ill at the time and just going in for surgery, the flood required us to have to stay in a hotel until the work was done. I feel I was taken advantage of for a number of reasons.

The representative brought out a very small sample of carpeting to chose from and of very poor quality. When I told her I wanted to keep it as close as possible as to what is in the rest of the house, as my insurance policy has replacement value. When I stated that the samples are not the quality or colors that will work, she assured me it was the quality, The representative called the warehouse a couple of times, I was not privy to the conversations. After the calls, she again showed me the same samples and said that is all I had to choose from, but telling me how lucky I was they had one of the colors in stock, it didn't matter to me, tit looked like a very thin shag carpeting.. I was told that it was the same quality of carpet that I currently have. My whole house has the same plush carpeting, (not shag) and we also installed a very upgraded pad underneath to ensure comfort (double the normal). They were given samples of what was being removed so they knew the quality that was in the home. I was told I could only choose from the 1 type of 8 different colors being shown, (pink and purple were definitely out), I have Sage green throughout the house I trusted them, and feeling that the upgraded padding would provide the comfort I was expecting, I agreed to go with their recommendation as I was assured it would met my expectations, my mistake. When I returned after the work was done, I was disappointed to find that the color was not even close to the color of the carpet, it was a very ugly brown and was definitely not the plush carpet I have throughout my house, Due to the stress I was under and trying to unload boxes and put the house back together so my husband could come home, I gave it a chance. After things calmed down, I realized we did not get the upgraded pad. Our dogs sleep by the side of our bed and they are constantly scratching trying to fluff up the carpet to be more comfortable. It feels like it is walking on hard floor or on indoor outdoor carpeting, no way near the plush soft carpeting I have in the reset of the house and what I was expecting.

After a year had gone by, where the carpeting is joined to the bathroom and hallway, it is fraying and I am able to feel the nails under the carpet in the doorways. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was not home a good portion of last year and now that I am seeing it on a daily basis, I cant believe what I got stuck with. I felt there was a lot of pressure to accept what they had in the warehouse only as they said there was no time to order anything. Had I had the experience with dealing with an insurance claim and contractors, maybe I would have known to fight more for my rights to get was I was paying for. The representative was very nice and courteous but I would have preferred to received what I thought I was paying for and requested.

Casey was great! We originally had planned for one type of flooring. She took one look at our dogs and recommended something we would have never thought of. Our floor is remarkable! Casey has saved us years of hassle, that we would have had to deal with, if we had gone with our original plan. It's not often you find someone that takes the time to a**** your needs.

They were fast, professional and detail oriented. We would recommend them to everyone and would use them in the future.

The entire staff was very helpful and experienced in flooring. They had good suggestions at every turn. The installers were exceptional both in work ethic and demeanor. They were very punctual and worked diligently every day. And they were very careful with our furniture which had to be stored in the garage during the repair. They were very considerate of us, knowing this job was generated by a bad event.

The experience was amazing. Their prices are a little higher than some, including their installation. I had heard wonderful things about their installers and they really do a good job. I have heard that they pay their installers more and because of that they do a better job. Their installers were amazing. This company is not as cheap as others, but you get what you pay for, I think.

We are very pleased with how nicely it restores dull tiles and darkened grout.

This is an update 6 months later. We are still highly pleased with the
floor. The grout still looks like it was freshly done...no dulling,
darkening or staining. The floor always looks clean.

It's hard to find service this good in Las Vegas. They were very professional and responsive to any concerns. He checked on his sub contractors, and was very accommodating with my time. I felt really safe about who he allowed in my house.

The carpets came out great, the seams are perfect, and the carpet was the best selection I could have made. There was a flaw in a piece of the carpet they installed in my living room, and they ordered a new piece and redid it.

This was a very big job. I was actually recommended to them by someone. The person who recommended them to me now feels really bad because they did a horrible job. Everything looks really terrible. They did not even show up at my home until noon and wanted to stay until 8 or 9 at night. I was not having that at all. I guess they had another job going on besides mine. I was not very pleased at all. I would not say that they probably did the worse job, but, it was not the best either.

I called them the crew from *expletive*. They did not cover my carpeting in living room as they (about 6 of them) went back and forth to the bathrooms. They had both toilets out at the same time for 2 days. Only 1 person spoke English so it was hard to converse with them. After they had finished my floorboards they were a real mess. The company sent someone to clean up, but he said he could not clean up the amount of mess they made. I called Ms. Wilson since she was the one I had dealt with, but she would not take my calls. She was always "out in the field". She never called me back. I wanted her to come out to see the mess they had left. I have grout marks all over.

When we first called them, the owner came right over to survey the situation. This gave us confidence in the fact we selected the right company for the job. It went straight downhill from there. They did not show up when the job was supposed to start. After calling several times, they finally arrived a week late. They brought the wrong tile, so they had to re-order it, which delayed the job even more. We had guests arriving for the Christmas holidays, and they had to stay in a hotel because of this. When they finally got around to doing the work, it was done poorly. There is a chipped tile, the floor was uneven, the grout was too wide between the tiles, and they scuffed the newly painted walls. This is one company we will never call again.

Las Vegas Flooring did a decent job installing our high quality carpet. They used plenty of padding and laid everything properly. The two man crew worked quickly and was finished in only one day. I'm not sure of the total price, but they do charge twenty five dollars per square yard.
