Another point arose when the cabinets go to a corner where we were going to have a cabinet for the R.O. init with access from under the sink. Again the installers stonewalled us not wanting to have a cabinet bottom in the corner. Again we wer told we would have to talk to their boss. This was finally worked out after another meeting.
During the installation the owner had to go leave for a family emergency. I don't fault him for that as everyone has family emergencies. However during this time no one showed up and we were left living in a partially completed mess. Calls to kitchenland's office would get "I'll tell (John (the owner). John would not call. We finally stopped payment on the check and then John called.
Upon return he made a point to come to the house with his I'm your new best friend smile and things got back on track for a while.
