We are a Family owned and operated business recognized by the City of Las Vegas as an "Historic Vegas Business". Our founder Buddy Yates was trade licensed in construction by the state of Nevada in 1965. Currently 3 generations are employed at K&B Door to continue our family business and provide the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding areas with excellent service.

Everything went great. Another company wanted to sell us a brand new door for $800. K&B said we did not need a new door. Thank you very much!

Robbie came out and assessed the problem that I had been having with the door (it kept bouncing up after closing and wouldn't stay down). After assessing the problem, he gave me his solution. I was willing to pay much more, and even replace the door if needed, but he told me that that would not be necessary. He repaired the door with a metal plate and I suggested that we change out the garage door, which I had been having trouble with for years. He then assisted me in programming the remote controls for the garage door, as well as a keypad outside the home. After all of this, he instructed me on how to use the garage door, new openers, put in new codes, everything. I could not have been more pleased with Robby. I highly recommend them.

I was generally satisfied, especially with how prompt the company was in starting work. However, I was a little frustrated with all the extra work it took to finally fix the issue.

My garage door opener stopped working and I made an appointment for Thursday, July 10th, to have them check it for me to see if it could be repaired or needed to be replaced. They gave me a time of arrival of between 12 noon and 3:30pm. When nobody showed up by 4pm and nobody called, I called them to find out if there was a problem. The lady that answered the phone said that the technician might be running late; she took my phone number and said that they would call me. Nobody called. At 4:55pm I called them again and this time nobody answered; the answering machine came on and said that they were closed for the day. I did not leave a message. I waited around the house until 5:45 pm, still nobody called and nobody showed up. I called them again, and this time I left a message and told them that I was very disappointed with them and would find someone else to do the work for me; I told them that I did not even want to hear from them and not to call me.

"Sorry you had a negative experience, we did have a workorder scheduled for you but the workorder was canceled prior to the Thursday date. This was a rare mix up and there were no notes on the paperwork as to why or when your order was canceled, which has been corrected internally. Again we have been servicing Las Vegas for 40 years and this type of mixup is rare for our office. The situation has been addressed and will not happen again. We hope that you will return to our company for service on your garage door in the future!"

I thought the work was fine, the follow up was poor. Once they left and I had problems and question
they had forgot the customer and really did not care. I called a number of times and nothing happened.

"Wow, sorry you had a poor experience but we do not have your name or address in our computer. We have been receiving several reviews in the last month from customers that used other door companies and they say they are getting emails from Angie's List to submit reviews. We contacted one homeowner and they had used a different door company. I believe there is a mix up, we have been here for 39 years, my father started the company in 1975 and would not still be here today if we treated customers in that manner."

I called on Friday at 4p and they were willing to set up an after-hours appointment for me that day or the next. Since I could save about $60 by waiting until Monday morning, I chose to wait.
Travis arrived on time first thing Monday morning, quickly spotted the problem, and fixed it. After doing so himself, he showed me how to lubricate the wheels and hinges and told me what products to use. When I asked, he said NOT to replace the motor until this one dies, which kept me from spending money unnecessarily.
The company included a $9 charge (on a $250 bill) for using a credit card. Had he pointed that out, I would have paid with a check instead. I also forgot to give him the $15 coupon I downloaded from their website, but that was my mistake.
Overall, excellent work and very friendly, professional and accommodating, plus, there's a 7-year warranty on the springs. I will definitely use K&B in the future and recommend them to others.

Our special is $241.00 + tax which would bring your total to $250.00. At first I needed to have 2 panels replaced due to dents causing the panels to field in on themselves. We had people accidentally open the garage without knowing how to to do properly and the last 2 panels failed. We originally got a quote for 2 panels and it was around 580. They did seem a little disappointed that I did not need all 4 panels, cause they would have made the overall cost cheaper. After my incident, I called and the cost increased less than $100 for the entire door. Setup the appointment and the guy took only about an 1-1 1/2 hrs to install. The door has worked great.

They provided me with detailed information over the phone, in regards to different types of opener and what they provide vs. what I can buy on my own and which brands to look for and etc. They weren't the cheapest but they sounded more thorough so I went with them. They came out on-time and confirmed the appointment the day before. The installer was a different guy than the guy I talked to on the phone but he was very professional and really good at what he did. The installation was pretty fast and he cleaned up after himself very well. Very glad I chose them and highly recommend them.

My tenant reported an issue with the garage door being off track and tilted, so I called K & B Garage door Co. as I've used them in the past. The repair technician came out the next morning exactly at the time of the appointment which meant that I didn't have stand around waiting. The technician found the the garage door was not properly installed original as the bracket that attached

Within 30 minutes of calling the company, a repair tech was at my door. Within 30 minutes of arriving, he had replaced a broken garage door spring. Tech was pleasant guy. Cost was as quoted. Perfect.

Over all it went well. The installers had to move my stuff to install the door, so I am still trying to get that straignten out, but it was a mess due some recent household renovations.

They were the only ones who could replace the windows so I went with them. They were really expensive. Everything was not outstanding or bad and it was right in the middle, from talking to the owner to the person who took the call. There was normal stuff and it wasn’t outstanding customer service and there was nothing that was bad. For the windows I would go to them but for the garage doors I might go to someone else and that is because of the pricing. With the amount I paid for the three windows I hope my windows never break again.

"Although we strive to be outstanding everyday, some days we may just be in the middle. We may not be the low-price leader either, over 37 years we have found that the lowest price is usually a company that does not have the experience necessary to know what the job will cost and how to complete it properly. Unfortunately, replacing broken windows can be very labor intense since you have to take the door apart and replace parts of the frame and keepers holding the glass in, all while not breaking the new glass. This labor and material does add up, but be assured that we attempt to keep our prices low as possible while providing quality materials and workmanship."
