Taxes were filed, and payments straightened out with the IRS. Unfortunately they failed to add my children as dependants on my 2018 taxes. When I asked them to fix their mistake, I was told they wanted $225.00 to make the amendment. Stay Far, Far away.

This caused an amendment and what seams really strange to me, is that he recently reached out to me to have me to prepare and file his taxes again. Wendy was great...Middle of Feb and she got back to me on Angie's List right away. I've had good tax and bad tax people before, and have to say I'm glad I found a wonderful person. I didn't expect to get money back! My taxes are complex- self-employed hairdresser, rent a room to someone, got PUA, own a house. Her price is normal for a CPA, and WORTH IT. It ends up paying off- so stay away from those chain tax place clerks and get a real CPA! I live in another state and everything was done via computer. Referred two friends to her so far!

OUTSTANDING!!! While they are labeled as Tax Prep and Resolution, they really help you solve your problems and then - which is where the rest of these types of companies fall short - help you to not get set up in a way so that it does not happen again. I made the mistake of using them once for only my immediate problem. A few years later I was back in the same boat. I tried other accounting firms. It became clear to me they only wanted my cash. I went back to JAG. The first question Wendy asked me was, "Do you want me to get things so that you do not have to go through this again?" You see, everybody else only wants to know what the immediate problem is. You are just another body in the revolving door. Within 1-week JAG had me on a plan toward not only resolution, but toward staying out of this kind of trouble again. Is it easy? No. But for all others I was just a transaction. For JAG, I am an investment - I invest in solutions to my problem and they invest in keeping me safe. Wendy, is by far the most honest and trustworthy tax accountant I have ever dealt with. I had an issue with my Federal Tax returns and Wendy walked me through the process. Unfortunately the government moves at a snails pace but Wendy was always responsive keeping updated as to where we were. She is smart and patient, especially for novice folks out there. From now on, I will always have Wendy do my taxes. She's truly been great! She completely cleared my record up.

Complete SCAM! Every time I called, there was someone new handling my case. Paid them $5,500 for absolutely nothing! The last person I worked with worked for them part-time; his full-time job was as a truck driver. (Seriously - I can't even make this up!) They cost me valuable time in negotiating with the IRS - I had to pay an attorney to fix their mess. Be careful of their "reviews" - and check the dates, to make sure they're legitimate. I wish I had done so.

WE DID SET UP PAYMENT PLAN MULTIPLE TIMES AS THEY STORY KEPT CHANGING. WE TRY TO ASSIST ALL OF OUR CLIENTS TO THE VERY BEST OF OUR ABILITY WE HAVE. OUR REPUTATION IS SOLID. BUT ALL MUST UNDERSTAND WE ARE NOT HERE TO PLAY GAMES OR TELL UNTRUTHS TO THE GOVERNMENT, ALTHOUGH VERY EFFECTIVE AT THIS ENDEAVOR TO ASSIST TROUBLED TAXPAYERS, CANNOT REPRESENT OUR CLIENTS IN A DIS-INGENUOUS MANNER BEFORE THE IRS AND STATE TAX AGENCIES. I EXPLAINED THIS TO THE CLIENT 3 YRS AGO WHEN I WAS FORCED TO WITHDRAW REPRESENTATION. BUT PRIOR TO THIS I SEE WE DID HER TAX RETURNS 3 YRS IN A ROW AND DID 2 RESOLUTIONS FOR HER AS SHE CONTINUED TO ADD TAX DEBT AND WERE WORKING ON THE 3RD GO ROUND, NEVER CHARGED HER FOR THIS EXTRA WORK. THIS REVIEW IS UNWARRANTED. I CALLED THE PATRON TO DISCUSS AND SHE NEVER ANSWERED THE CALL NOR THE EMAIL I SENT IN EFFORT TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. 09.20.19- WE ATTEMPTED TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER WITH THE CLIENT AS WE TRULY DO CARE AND ALWAYS CONCERNED WITH ANYONE UNHAPPY; WE DISCOVERED SHE WAS YET IN THE HANDS OF ANOTHER TAX COMPANY AND THE BEAT GOES ON... WE DID ALL WE COULD."
